Worst case scenario, pop into branch or phone up for some replacements.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0 -
just done 5th YB a/c in branch (incl. a cup of tea).4th was a 'refer' yesterday. Have 4 CB a/c, so fingers X'd 9 in all. Dithering over the 10th (re today's and the 'refer').0

just had latest Noddle credit report. Has gone up from 4 to 5 'even' with all these new a/cs.
6 credit searches by CB for the 9 new CB/YB a/cs, as "money laundering/new customer".
No credit searches done for the Halifax/Coop/Barclays/Nwide,, new a/cs0 -
That's my (one and only, unfortunately) incentive paid, exactly 34 days since paying in the £1000. Luckily the wife has one in progress too.0

There's no let up! 9th account just opened.
Had an offer of a pre-approved credit card through the post, and called to accept (decent limit too!). Had a bit of banter with the CSA about the incentive and the number of accounts I'd recently opened, and he offered to take me through another over the phone...because I wanted to "bring all my banking to YB".
If I can open 2 more as planned in branch later this week that'll be £1,650. This is getting silly now!0 -

It’s a good line to use as I do – I want all my current accounts and savings in one place and with CB or YB. Imagine having to monitor 23 accounts with 23 different banks?!
You must know the terms and conditions off by heart now:D – my last application took 30 minutes by phone with about 20 minutes of that being the poor call centre person having to read out endless details about this and that which are all covered in the stuff sent by post. I do feel a bit sorry for their staff as it must be even more tedious for them (although it varies each time) – just hope they are on a bonus for current account sign ups!0 -

Well First Trust have just brought me down to earth with a bump! They can't satisfactorily ID me electronically (first time ever!), meaning I'd have to go into branch, so that one's out! And that's despite 21 years at the same address, numerous accounts reported to the CRAs, landline, passport and driving licence for many years...and a damned good reason for wanting a NI bank account!
Some you win...and some you lose!0 -

I think its just a polite way of telling you it’s a bank for Ulster people and you don’t live there and they don’t want you!
Alternatively Belfast is a nice day trip – and you could visit the Titanic museum too if you fly to Belfast City airport which has several flights from England, Wales and Scotland!:D
or you could take the ferry from Stranraer to Belfast and stop off in the Clydesdale branch in Stranraer and open another account!
