Quick question.. Ive transferred banks over to them, all went through a couple of weeks ago.
I have also transferred the £1000 - can someone tell me how long I need to wait for the £150 incentive payment,
thanks0 -
Ok, i seen many of you have opened a few accounts..
How exactly are you getting the incentive payment on each of these? DO you have so many dormant accounts waiting to transfer over??0 -

Did (or is) anyone experience a delay putting into doubt their desired switchdate?
I returned the paperwork on Thurs 29th of Jan and not heard a dicky bird from Yorks or TSB (the switching account).0 -

I didn't want to chase them up...for obvious reasons!0 -

2 more should pay out in around 3 weeks
Going for 2 more (but the donors aren't ready yet), and these will be applied for at the branch which holds my only genuine long-held account (the Direct mentioned above). I've deliberately left these until last, to minimise any possible chance of rejection/refusal/referral.
I have been a customer for 35 years though, so maybe that's why I haven't been referred (yet!).
One thing, you'll certainly have plenty of donor accounts ready for the next switch offer!
[Only done 2 CB switches myself]

I also admire all who've gaily done this several times. Not often anyone 'gets one over' on financial organisations.
I'm a relative newbie to using current a/c's as savings, bouncing the required monthly paying in amounts around 11 accounts at the moment, with the max allowed held in each earning 3/4/5%.
Just making my first foray into the field of 'switching' but think I'll stick to doing it small scale, just bounce from one to the next to the next for as long as the going is good, as opposed to all balls in the air at once!
I appreciate ALL the help, advice and suggestions that MSE users have given to help others gain a little bit more from our own money.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
Wish I'd seen this thread sooner. Had been thinking about switching but didn't realise I could get the incentive paid on more than 1 account. Have just got off the phone to them (took over an hour!) and have switched 2 accounts to them, so that's an easy £300. Will probably look to switch again once I have had the incentive payments.0
