Yes, my late Dad very nearly ended up homeless when he was released from a psychiatric hospital and had no-where to go. He was very very lucky that Suffolk MIND nominated him for social housing (no idea if they are still able to do so, but even then I think they were only able to nominate one person a year). When Dad passed away I asked for donations to Suffolk MIND - their kindness made all the difference to Dad's later years. Sadly single men, even when vulnerable, seem to be at the bottom of the pile when it comes to allocating housing. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

I don't know your budget but these coats are great and go right under the belly too. My dogs love theirs.
I know they are aimed at sighthounds, but if you email her she may be able to do measurements for other breedsI just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0 -

Seen Gavin yesterday after work in his usual spot. Got a little notepad and a pen (plus few other little things) from Wilko and asked him to write down what he needs.
Turns up Gavin is 6ft8inch (!!!!!) tall and has problems getting clothes as not many places sell those and you can forget charity shops for someone as tall as that.
He mentioned a pair of jeans and apparently a shop in Croydon does this lenght but they are about £30.00.
Asked him to write all his sizes and whatever else apart from clothes he may need and give me the list next time I see him - then will see what I can do.
Anyone got any experience with clothes for VERY tall men?
Scratching head as I am 5ft nothing myself so no idea...0 -
That IS tall.....!!
No idea i'm afraid....as i'm a shorty tooYep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -

High & Mighty is a clothes shop aimed at very tall men, but the jeans are quite expensive.
M&S also do up to 35" inside leg (search for menswear, jeans and then by waist size and then leg length), Next also go up to 35 too. However, this might not be long enough for someone who is 6' 8" as I am guessing he probably needs near to 39", or 40".0 -
Thanks - he did mention Tall and Mighty but also that their jeans are about £90.00 - shock horror.
Will try to google later on today and see what I can find and then when I know the exact size - will see what I can do...0 -
What about jacamo or maybe sports direct? If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0
