Funny, over the last year I've seen at least 20 twitter comps that have ended that haven't been posted on here and noticed a few names from here that have entered them.

Why not posted? makes you think eh!

a. because it is too much hassle to post here
b. thought about it but couldnt be bothered to
c. the comp was ending shortly and thought there wasnt much point
d. selfish and wanted the prize

there is someone who openly says they enter comps that have low entries [and obviously not posted here or any other comp forum] and tells other people to do this too. i cannot help but wonder if they know they are making themselves look selfish and don't care or they are blissfully unaware?

I rarely find comps that aren't posted, as don't really enter anywhere except here!

I have been in situation C on Twitter, where I see the post with a couple of minutes left, so don't post here.
The problem with Twitter is everything happens so quickly - it's easy to forget you've entered a comp, in order to check on here and then add it. :undecided

ETA - not sure who it is that says they enter low entry comps, but maybe they mean things like Pinterest etc which are posted here, but get v few entrants. Or maybe I am just giving them too much benefit of the doubt?! :rotfl:

Going off at a tangent a little. I have noticed that often when people announce they have won a comp there are some who do not name and thank the op. I know sometimes you can not find it so if that has ever happened to me I have put it out there and quickly someone here has let me know who to thank. The OPs are really nice people and deserve to be named.

I really appreciate all the people who put time and effort into posting comps. Being a single mum of 4 and working full time I only get around 2hrs a night to enter comps. I do get emails through of other comps and go to post them and realise they have already been done but I will always help wherever i can. Karma x
