Why do people post competitions?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they do! I'm just wondering why it's in anyone's interests to post about comps and their answers on here, and reduce their own chances of winning!?

because they are nice people :)

there are some not nice people in the comping world, but they are in the minority
  • Its probably because they're thinking about others too. I for one am glad i have the opportunity to enter all the comps i do,and without the posters of comps,i very much doubt i'd noticed 3/4's of the comps i actually enter!

Like most things in life, what goes around comes around. :D
Love all, trust a few. Do wrong to none.

I don't normally enter rafflecopters but there were some on a site I visited that were not posted on here, I had to enter them to get to the question and answer so I could post it - had an email this afternoon and I have won one of them - wouldn't have entered/won if I hadn't been going to post it.

i'm an absolute !!!!!! but i'll still help out with answers even if i dont want whats offered but it still gives someone else a chance

there are probably lots of people who don't help out and i hope they never win :D
  • Awwwwwww. Well, it's really good to know I'm not the only nice person in the world! (If frequently stopping my car to help beetles cross the road lets me in the club?)

Good on you guys, I hope you win big!

It's a nice thing to do.

Also if you post it will get more people to enter, this will make the company more likely to post new comps in the future.
