Not a problem at all Stewby....glad I could help
I imagine we ALL have things that make us feel more secure....so don't worry....
Nothing else to report....just getting ready to start saving...0 -
Thank you so much for swapping dreamerHelen. I am very grateful. I have almost this paranoid belief that odd numbers are bad omens and for some silly reason my brain has latched on to number 8 as being lucky and good for me.
I have no idea why this is at all.

Sorry for being so akward mr CF. It's just because I go on holiday early in December and we have to send parcels down to England, it is easier to run from November to November and then when we go down to visit in November, we have all the presents ready to go. I promise it is not just me trying to be fussy.
Can't wait for this to begin. In fairness, our pot might end up out of kilter anyways as we tend to stick spare coins in any of our three pots. Better to be saving than spending.
Can't wait to see how the spreadsheet goes. It will be amazing if we can make it to £100,000 or more!!!!!

Hi everyone, can I join in for 2015? I don't usually budget for christmas and normally I'm ok, but next year we're getting married and I want to make sure we have the cash there ready for presents so I don't have to worry about where we can find the extra cash from!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

I've already made a provisional Christmas present list for next year which will also double up as a birthday present list for friends and family. I always tend to spoil my niece a bit so what she doesn't get this year I might buy for her next year. I do love buying things for other people even if it's just a small gift
I love the coats from Hobbs, I bought one from there last year and it still looks brand new. It does make you feel special0 -
Yay I love this idea - please sign me up!0

I would love to join in this but my only problem is that I only have 50p a week to put in my pot. Would that be a problem?0

You'll still have a good amount by saving 50p so go for it!0 -
Hi Uselessnow, I can't see it being a problem. It would just mean that you'd have half of what we all had at the end of next year unless you could add extra as and when you had some extra pennies. Some money saved is always better than nothing saved at the end of the year 😊0
