  • What a fantastic response after only 1 day :D
We now have 16 members signed up. I've tried to keep a few of the numbers for last years participants the same so it's easier for them :rotfl:
Let's keep the entries rolling in. My target would be to save over £100,000 over the course of the thread between everyone. That's a lot of savings for Xmas haha :)
Is anyone has any ideas or suggestion, fire them my way I'm open to creativity. What do people think of a spreadsheet to keep the running totals?

That's a lot of people saving £365 in the year!!!!

Would definitely be interested to see a running total.
  • Yes please! Count me in - I've enjoyed saving £1 per day during 2014 and have my tin ready for 2015:T

Sorry, not been paying attention and didn't click that this was the new £365 in 365 days.
    :o

Any chance I can join up??

Hoping that maybe Helen would let me have number 8, but if not I understand. Don't want to seem cheeky, it's just my lucky number.
    :undecided

If I can join up then OH and I both contribute £1 each every day. (Goes in at the beginning of the month).
I am afraid we will be doing it from November to November as I go on holiday the first week of December and won't have time to do shopping after that. Hope that is okay.
    :)

Count me in please :) I haven't been updating this years challenge, but thanks to the £365 in 365 days, I have the money for my daughters 18th Limo party bus next month :D

  • Mr CF could I have a smaller number please? If not it's ok :-)
  • Count me in please :) I was planning on doing this anyway but assumed it would start in January.

I will be using an online saver and will transfer the month's money every payday. I'm pretty strict about not dipping into savings so trust myself not to dip into the account.

  • I have already got myself geared up for this by emptying my piggy bear of copper to make way for the £1 coins! £5 already waiting to go in so may start off with this to avoid the temptation of using this before 1st December.

  • MrCF thanks for my same number x
Well I like the idea of a running monthly update - it's great to see your own savings increase each month along with others - but I think a whole total could be really motivating - especially when you are tempted to open/spend your savings ( I appreciate sometimes we all have drama and crisis and need to use the money and any saving is better than the CC) but for me seeing the grand total I would not want to let the side down by not adding in my bit each month :D

I can't believe how much response has been generated already - we are all going to have a fab Xmas 2015 I can feel it already :T:T
