Uselessnow I agree I think the important thing is that your saving! Certainly everyone on the thread from 2014 was really encouraging & friendly - no one can be critical of another's situation so if you've not sorted your pot - even if it's an old coffee jar seal it up and your ready to go! And pop on the thread as regularly as you can to let us know of your progress - certainly for me that helped to keep me focused on saving especially reading others posts x
The only reason I'm doing a virtual one as well as a real one is because I have found it so addictive  and now I'm in the swing will finally get a only in a complete emergency fund started - one of those that Martin talks about and we all wish we had but usually don't
AlwaysHappy ooh lovely a coat from H*bbs - sometimes it's about how you feel too! Hope you parade it off on the cold dark days to come - I bet you will have e readybr*k glow inside xxMeowhouse SPC #7 no 199 £560.58

Uselessnow echo the others that any money saved is better than no money saved and that would still be a healthy £182 saved up over the course of a year
Meowhouse I'm planning on doing the virtual sealed pot challenge alongside this one too.I've found the little savings pots quite adictive and I get more enjoyment seeing them go up than I do seeing my loan come down at the moment. Probably because I only have 6 loan payments left and it's just ticking over really.Debt free since May 20150 -

Still £26 saved is better than £0. £26 could pay for quite a few extras you wouldn't have had otherwise.
2 adults groceries: June £35.79/£200

Oops, my mistake, I read it as 50p per day. Guess I better follow up the reminder letter my optician sent recently and book my eye test :rotfl:

Hi everyone! Can I join too please? I always mean to save for Christmas and never quite manage it... A sealed pot might work for me though, it helped DH and I save an extra £150 for our wedding and that was undisciplined and random, so with discipline maybe I can make it to £365...
That will be a good chunk extra on my normal Christmas budget so I can spoil people!

Maybe I should go to specsavers as well. It was supposed to say that I can manage to save 50p a day not a week.
Pot all sorted and I am ready to start on 1st Dec0 -
I'm ahead of myself! I've got my tin and have already put 4x£2 coins in so #15 8/365:T0

Well we're nearly at 50 members. Wow it's fantastic. 50x365 is nearly £20,000 saved over the year.
I have to apologise I was working the weekend along with tomorrow and Wednesday. I intend on updating everything fully on my days off along with getting this spreadsheet up and organised.
For now, take care, stay calm and keep me signing up. You don't want to miss you.
MrCFSaving for that dream holiday0
