Got myself a container, that I've made a money box lid for using duct tape, and it's all ready to start saving. Not sure if the tub will be big enough, as I'm not quite sure how much space 365 pound coins take. Quite excited about getting started :)

  • Hi all, I've been inspired by ellieseleven to save money for next year so please could I be added to the list. I will definitely have to get a sealed tin as I have no will power otherwise and I will be hiding it from the rest of the family as a surprise next year.

    Good savings everyone.

  • I think I have decided on my 'tin' too. An old ice cream tub with a slit cut into the lid.
  • Nice to see so many people signing up to this :)

Looking forward to getting started on 1st December. I am doing mine in an online savings account and just doing a monthly transfer as I have enough pots of various coins in the house at the mo.
