    Yes, I'm putting my £1 into a sealed tin so that I don't have any temptation to take it out (I have to use a tin opener to get in). This worked well for me last year and you soon get into the swing of adding £1.

  • I'm using a big coffee jar which is going to be placed on a shelf in my bedroom so as soon as I get home from work I'll see it there and drop my £1 in. First 3 coins are sitting in a box at home waiting for me to get the jar down from the attic.
  • £1 duly placed in the tin success for day one!!

  • I've put my £31 in the tin for the month of December. I'm paid monthly so it will be easier putting cash in my tin around payday

    Just set up a weekly SO to an old Nat West saving account for £7.00 every Monday. Found I had 0.07p interest sat in there! So tomorrow I will have £7.07 :j
