  • £1 coin into the almost empty pot (that's £2 in there now). I'm going to try and put only £1 coins into my terramundi because then when I break into it next December it will be like opening a crock of gold.
  • Well £31 added to the ISA for me today so off the starting blocks too :D
    Did add coins to the pot earlier as I had a few and wanted to resist the temptation of spending so in the pot to safety they went :rotfl:

    Well done potters it seems we are off to a flying start :T:T:T

    Now I'm off to go and tackle this spread sheet ......:eek:

    No problem at all. You and AlwaysHappy are the only ones who have had trouble :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. If you PM me your google account email address and il add it to the access sheet so you can get on. I did get your update sheet and I've added your total onto the spreadsheet.
    Saving for that dream holiday
  • Well done to everyone who has started on their Christmas savings pot. I have put in my £7 for the first week in December and will be putting it in my glass jar weekly as I draw out cash and try to make it last to help with budgeting. Sometimes works and sometimes not :rotfl:

    If it is ok with you Mrcrimefiction I will be sending in my form at the end of each month. Happy saving!

    Same here, monthly updates would probably be easier MrCF. But I've transferred my second pound over today.
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000
    Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 2017
  • Just put £1 in tin, so that's £2 in so far. Will put an update in my signature.

  • Another £1 in the pot. I too will update at the end of every month to keep things simple but I'm hoping that posting on here every day will help keep me motivated. I'm enjoying reading all your ideas and tips.
