Saving for Xmas 2015! A pound a day :-)

I've written the 365 days on an A4 piece of paper and will cross a day off each time a £1 goes in the money tin.

We have spent our November savings pot.


So we shall be starting December with a clean slate which should help keep the speadsheet better.


Will attempt to put the money in the pot on the 1st but we go on holiday that day so it might not be until the 8th. Will try my best though.

Can I join this challenge please? Will try my absolute best to do it, I'm horrible at saving but really trying to improve. Would love to have money put away to do a big splurge sometime.

Also curious, which online saving accounts do people use?

Oh my word this savings club is more organised than our Credit union lol, I have been too poorly to sit at the pc for 10 days so not really seen the forms etc I think that little thing a lone will keep me on track :D:D I love a good form to keep me accountable lol thanks for all you do and happy to say just popped my Dec money into esavings online x

I'm transferring across money into my online ISA. That way I won't take it out again until it's needed. There are loads of online instant access accounts which would be good for this.

All the new comers have been added to the spreadsheet and list on page 1. Well done to everyone who has submitted their totals via the sheet. I can't believe I created such a decent thing :rotfl:

So tomorrow we start. I can't believe it's here already. Ready, get set, go!!!!

If anyone has any problems, just let me know il try sorting it out for you.

Ooh December tomorrow and that means I have only 15 days of work to do and then holidays!

I'm excited about saving for next Xmas, it will be an absolute first, I may have put in a few sneaky coins already but I will be starting properly tomorrow.

terriixx I am going to be transferring to my online ISA. There are so many different accounts to choose from I hope you find one to suit you

Here we go then, the start of a new saving's challenge year! good luck everyone, I hope you all save plenty for Christmas 2015. I've just popped £10 into my tin as I don't need bus fare for myself or the boys today as my dh has swapped his shifts and is on nights so I have the car!:money:
