  • Hello new joiners :)

I got paid today so have transferred my first £31 for the month of December into an online savings account. It's easier for me to do just one transfer each month than just making lots of little deposits and the money will be out of my account straight away then.

Will test out the form to submit info now

  • Ok I have my shiny jar ready for pound coins - just washed out an Uncle Bens sweet and sour sauce one we used for tea tonight ;) As I withdrew my cash for the week today I have put in my first 7 pound coins for week 1 of December - Hurrah!! I can access the spreadsheet MRC but will update it at the end of each month but my running signature will have the weekly totals. On my way!!

I'm going to try for £1 a day too, so as to keep the motivation up - I just think that will work best for me. I'm going to cross them off in my diary - I love ticking things off!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • Me too - I had a very small pocket diary that I got for Xmas last year so used this to cross of and also it helped me keep a tally for the days that I did not have the £1 coinage to pot :D

Well I think word has got round that the challenge is about to start again near me I had 7 x £1 in change in my wallet when I came home today :rotfl:

... But couldn't resist the temptation of potting so clink clunk in it went so that's week one already complete for me :D:D
    - also meant it wouldn't get spent either ;)

It's really great to see so many newbies and returning potters - so hopefully this will be another great thread this year
