    Morning all.

Hugs, sticks, spoons & vibes to all as speed reading the thread as its one of those multi-tasking mornings :o

Today I have a BD appointment in town, so I've got an all buses bus pass (only £3.50 instead of £4 for one bus company, or £2.20 each way!). I had hoped to walk, but after seeing the weather forecast I'm not sure I want to risk it. I'll see how I feel in an hour which is when the pass will be valid from if I use it, if not then I can keep it for another day ;) I need to call at 2 shops, to pick a couple of items up then home to more housework. However if I do use the bus pass I may visit a couple of other shops :o

    Monday:
    [STRIKE] Laundry[/STRIKE]
    Ironing
Accounts - personal done, still need to do work ones but I have them written down so they just need putting into the software I use
[STRIKE] Compare debt plan to loan offer to see it the consolidation loan is worth it[/STRIKE] Now I just need to make an appointment with the bank & pray I pass the credit check to get the loan! Saving £4k in interest and paying all the debts off 20 months quicker means the loan wins hands down, even if it will cost me £10 a month more.
    Type up recipes for DD
[STRIKE] Collect books from school at hometime[/STRIKE] Need to collect another today.
Homework - half done. Stuff due today is done, but I have more reading to do and I know I'll have things to from today.

    Tuesday:
    Update finances/shuffle money
    BD appointment
HH knitting x 4 minimum (attempting to knit a gift, but I'm not sure its going to work out :()
Find some recipes I know I have lurking which I got from these forums :o
    Shredding x 4 lots.
Dig out winter blankets & freshen them up as my bedroom is freezing despite the radiator being on full :(
Update TV listings (we can only set it up to record 20 things at a time, so when we record films I end up deleting stuff thats on series link which isn't on until next week so we can still record the next 20 things. :o)
Try to find somewhere selling the metal pin poppies. DD hasn't been able to get one so I gave her mine for school so I want to get another one so she has it for next year from when the appeal is launched.

Going to make myself another coffee as I am freezing, do the TV job while I have that, iron my clothes and get ready for my appointment. Weather forecast is now saying it'll start raining in 110 minutes, just when I would leave to walk to the appointment. Typical!

Car in garage today, please keep fingers crossed that it wont be expensive!

Ours is due its MOT, so fingers crossed for yours and ours, YL.

Many, many moons ago OH worked on cruise liners and I worked on motor yachts, eons before we met. I love being at sea, but the closest I can get him to being back on serious water is Brittany Ferries to Roscoff or, in a good year, Santander. I am so jealous LW! What a fabulous thing to look forward to.

The bit of the dining room carpet that I washed yesterday is looking so much smarter I can't leave the bit next to it much longer. It's just inside the front door so it's he heaviest traffic area of the whole house and therefore the grubbiest. I'm going to do it just before I go to bed and leave the dehumidifier near it overnight tonight or tomorrow night. We've got a houseful for the next five weeks and on a couple of nights we're quadruple booked, so if I don't do it this week, it'll be horrendous by the time everyone goes - one of them's booked through until 23 December.

And Bah Humbug to anyone else who says they're behind on their Christmas decorations - it's November!
    Better is good enough.

I have a very poorly Dot today. I still have a raging cold complete with hearing loss, snotfests and a cough that a 90 year old smoker would be proud of!.. Pixie still has a very gross leaky nose and Squeak is coughing too now.. so pleased we hadn't arranged to go to OH's mothers this weekend I don't think any of us could cope with that!

And.. Just for Honey... I am so far behind on my Christmas prep it is unreal.. not a thing wrapped, only half bought and not a bean in the bank!

Morning, good luck to those attending weigh ins, I have lost a stone and half since May and get a bit paranoid about putting it back on again, im down to 8stone 6 and feel happy in my own skin for the first time in years. Feeling a bit lathargic still after my week of nights but going to crack on now, my birthday tomorrow so may take a day off and go out somewhere. (Hugs) to those having a less than good day, dont feel I know you all enought to comment personally on each of your circumstances but hope to join in more and get to know you all. Off to scrub some more off my list.

I said 'decorations,' Piggers, not presents or the wrapping of them. Even I've got some bits and pieces stashed for OH - which, unfortunately, he found the other day while hunting for something else. What used to be magical about the event that is known as C-word in this house until 1st December was the transformation that happened in the blink of an eye. Nowadays it starts around the August bank holiday and by the time we get to December I'm heartily sick of the whole tat-and-tinsel thing.

Update TV listings - pending the box getting the listings for Friday onwards! It hasn't even got tomorrows for some channels, but it had them yesterday. Guessing its due to the wet weather again

    Phone bank to arrange appointment.

Time to get my bag ready, get washed/changed and head out. It looks like its going to be one of those days where time flies
