  • Hi - quick update -
been to bank and got another Xmas present and did 3.2 Km walk
did ironing and put all away
cleaned windows in kitchen and lounge - memo to self - don't mash potatoes vigorously in front of the kitchen windows ever again!
Two phone calls - one more to go - also did banking and extra phone call to bank as it wasn't right!
Lots of tidying up and "research".
    HH me time - knitting

Bit cross as DH just asked what I "do for 8 hours a day". Apart from having done my back in again reaching across to the kitchen windows "not a lot" apparently!

    Catch up tomorrow.

Hugs Katie. GWS vibes to Pigpen and others and wow LW - what a fantastic cruise.

Evening all, got quite a bit done this morning as I came streight off a night shift and cracked on as soon as I got in. Spent most of day out shopping, bought birthday cards x2 written out and ready to go, another xmas pressie purchased and 4 spare wall tiles picked up from store after refit of my bathroom, I wanted a few spare tiles in case of emergency, tonight gonna watch the soaps and do ironing, starting to flag now. Nearly forgot..bought a corded phone, been meaning to get one for a while in case of winter powercuts, current phone is digital, mobile phone next to useless at home due to really poor 3g.

just looking at the list youve posted JTTOU. youve done MORE THAN ENOUGH in 8 hours and SHOULDNT have to explain or justify yourself. you have washed and ironed clothes for your family and theyve got a lovely meal to come home to in a tidy house!! GRRR on your behalf.

put your feet up and do some more knitting

im annoyed with myself as ive just knocked my !!!!! man spaghetti jar over while wiping the work surfaces and smashed his hat. (mum bought it me a couple of christmasses ago and my friend was only admiring it when she came round in the week)
not sure why italian type gangster man word is deemed unsuitable thats what it was sold as but MSE obviously doesnt allow that word

Mr LW has informed me he's booked our 2015 holiday. I'm very nervous, because it's a long way out of my comfort zone, but he quite rightly says it's a once-in-a-lifetime trip. He's booked us on a cruise to see the Northern Lights and the total solar eclipse next March.

if that's the one I was reading about in the daily paper (new vessel and adults only) I am well jell.

    BUT

I am a VERY LUCKY lady.

I have been offered the gift of a 'new' Valli mobile!
