I have a 'new' car. So this morning I will be clearing out the old one.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

*strangles the air* :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Okay, deep breaths. Buying a house is horrible, fyi. *sigh* My brother is harking on about renting a lorry and doing it ourselves. Where under earth are we going to find a lorry two weeks before Christmas, brother o'mine?!
The removal men are doing a estimate on the 25th, so I'm going to just go with them unless it turns out to be super expensive.
This week has been much of the same - phone calls and trying to correct a sleeping pattern but I managed to- Clean the bathroom
- Do some work in my room
- Keep the kitchen somewhat manageable
- Resurrect the hoover and vaccum the hall, kitchen, dining room, and living room. DIE, DUST BUNNIES, DIE!
- Get relatives around to the houses they were looking for and back home to the south coast without killing them or me. :A:A
- And do some more work on my novel.

Aww, super pigpen how big is she?
I've done 2 more kitchen cupboards here. I'm going in the garage to tidy the store cupboard. I've brought some soups in and want to take some baking bits out.
Had a good chat with my mum, and also called inlaws. Think they are struggling a bit. It's going to be a tough week I think. I've said I'm happy to do swimming this week if they want a break but I don't want them to feel they can't be with us if it will help in any way. These kiddies are the most wonderful distraction but also with me being off work I don't want them to feel they can't have a break from the routine too.
OK I'm going to stop typing now because DS is trying to read it, lolBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Yorkshirelass - I've put the numbers from my DD's phone in mine as well. I have her dads family numbers in my phone under "Z - their name" and then her friends are "X - their name" so I have to make a conscious decision to call them since I have a number of people with the same name in my phone. Doesn't help that I have customer numbers as well! It gets very very confusing at times :rotfl: And a Happy Birthday to your DS
Dancemum - Hugs
MrsMP - Happy birthday to your DD
We had a lovely lie in until gone 9.30 this morningDD has spent the day doing homework (and still has loads to do as she's on a go slow ), I've stripped her bed, put the shopping delivery away and rewound some of my wool stash. Now its time to get tea started (toad in the hole which I haven't made in ages!), I might throw in a cake as well since I'll have the oven on. I still need to do the ironing
Best get moving as DD has just declared she needs this laptop to finish her homework!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Good afternoon everyone, I have not been taking part in flylady this week,as I have somehow managed to lose a week due to tiredness and illness. I am feeling better today and have sat and reflected on things, which has made me realise that this week I have got no course work done, no cleaning done and no work done, so really a wasted week. As a result of the lost week I have a backlog of work / coursework and the house looks like a tip.
For the rest of the evening I will:
Enjoy the roast that dh is making
Spend 2 hours on course work
Sort plans of action for next
Sign up to the new post when its live
Iron clothes for tomorrow
Sort bags and lunches for tomorrow
Get the little ones bathed and into bed at a reasonable time
Get an early night
I think that is enough to be working on tonight x0 -
DS1 says thank you for the cake and good wishes! Had a nice day, birthdays can be tricky with DS with all his health problems and I could tell after our lunch out he was flagging. OH had the great idea of calling at the supermarket and getting things for a proper birthday tea (cake, pop, crisps, sausage rolls etc) then lighting the fire and watching a film. He says he has had a good day.
I have had another migraine. This is a warning sign, I need to slow down and start looking after myself. Will be flying gently next week.
And Nicki, wish I had thought of doing this sooner. DS2 is a good lad but at that age where he doesnt always think of other people!0 -

Thank you for all the kind wishes and returning vibes....back with baby steps starting tomorrow. LR and sofas hoovered today and some baked beans stains rubbed out of the carpet.....kitchen S&S and DD3, DD4 and my BR degibbled of toys and washing, some WM loads done on cheapy electric DS has done some WU of with a "wishing washing up wand" that I got from bandm and I did the DU and PA........hoping I might be able to make it a regular occurrence.....years ago a school mum I was acquainted with used to make her 5 year old wash the pots from dinner and the 3 year old dry them up, while she did all the smashables and stabables herself....thinking I might get DS and DD4 started on this one instead of trying to make them load the DW.
EXMiL will be arriving at some point in the day tomorrow to watch the Young Skints will I am at my evening class and then BD group thingy on Tuesday.....so I am ready for my cupboards to be re-arrranged and the children to be forced into a chocolate induced diabetic coma .
Pigpen lovely little Grand-Pink. Erin is a pickle..many congratulations to all....*chant* I will not get broody, I will not get broody, I will not get broody
Time for some R&R.....nighty nightThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
