  • Oh wonderful news Pigpen she is beautiful - congrats to DD and her partner.

Glad you are recovering Dusty - take it easy still - please.

Iona - you are likely to "not like" me because I wrapped all but two of my Xmas presents yesterday! and did a hamper - which DH says looks quite professional!!! Only because I needed to see if I had enough stocking filler type bits for DS and GF and we are taking them at beginning of Dec. Now just got to get the money cards sorted and I'm done. Will therefore have plenty of time to make lots of mince pies!!! Going to freeze them though because you can't nibble on frozen mince pies on a whim!!

Read back quickly last night - so hope everyone is OK - going to make the most of a good weekend and get in the garden.

    Catch up next week. x

Welcome to the world, Little Erin! Thank you so much, Pigpen, for brightening my day - her picture was the first thing I saw this morning when I logged on. Beautiful.

And thank you everyone for all of your kind thoughts (and licks passed on by the Lovely LW). It makes me feel very special to be on the receiving end of such generosity of spirit. For the first time ever, she refused to get out of her basket to go for a walk with me this morning, despite me waving the lead and her jacket at her, so something's changing but she seems painfree and peacefully calm and happy this morning. That's all I can ask.

Healing vibes, Dusty. I understand exactly why you didn't 'share' before the event, but please take it easy for a couple of days.

KatieCat, I think you must be there while the loading is going on, but it might be helpful if you can arrange for some supportive friends to be with you afterwards for something that you enjoy - a beautician coming round for a girly evening, or a trip to the flicks to see something that will make you laugh.
    Better is good enough.

Hello flyladies and welcome flybaby Erin.

I've only read this page this week but get the impression that some of you need spoons/hugs etc so take what you need.

I've had a busy week with the paid stuff, four 12 hour days, a headache for over a week, and a poorly LittleyDog who's just finished a course of steroids.

I've not even been able to keep up with the dailies. This morning I've popped into town but wasn't able to get what I went for so that will mean a trip to another town later today. First of three washloads is in the machine, and I'm going to look at the lists for inspiration before going out again.
Spend less now, work less later.
