:jLovely news, pigpen! :T Congratulations to your DD and her partner :T - and you too of course, because without you, none of this would have been possible. What does Spam make of his new sister? I just love these first photos when babies look all cross-eyed and grumpy because they're trying to make sense of the world they've been thrust into!

You have no excuse for forgetting her birthdate. I like nice numbers.

I have been up since 5.25: left at 06.00 to drive DH to Wolverhampton to catch the 06:42 train to Aberystwyth for a funeral, and was back here by 07.00 because the roads were almost completely clear :) (unlike yesterday when the same journey to hospital took an hour and a quarter each way  ).

    My list for today:
    [STRIKE]- breakfast
    - tidy kitchen table
    - tidy LR
    - tidy bedroom and sort washing[/STRIKE]
    - WM [STRIKE]x1[/STRIKE][STRIKE] x2[/STRIKE] and TD [STRIKE]x1[/STRIKE] x2
    [STRIKE]- tidy study
    - S&S bathrom and ensuite
    - dust and[/STRIKE][STRIKE] hoover downstairs[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- collect DGD1+2 soon after 9.00 and take them to see reindeer parade with the man in red, give them lunch and take them home again[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- lay the table for tonight[/STRIKE]
    - drive to airport and collect 3 Germans
    - feed them (leftover soup, lasagne made yesterday evening, green salad, bread needs 10 min in oven)
    - take them to Worcester
    - will probably need to collect DH from station, which is 12 miles from our house in totally the opposite direction from Worcester :o
    - collapse into bed

It's gotta be done, there's no other option :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day x

PS: I bought the first Christmas present yesterday: theatre tickets for DS2 and DDiL2. Two down, about twenty to go :D

    Washing up done
    Condensation dealt with
    Wasing sorted
Bird feeder washed - just drying before I refill

DH has been up so made me another cuppa

Embb - only kept quiet as if I thought about it I cried and you lot would have been so lovely I'd have been a total wreck. I've worried about it for a couple of months so hopefully I'll return to my old self now.

So many things I could do today that I can't decide where to start.
