Ah feeling knackered and I've not even done anything. Just done a huge online order for bras for me and jumpers for DS1 - cold waiting at the station now the weather is changing.
Think I'll go and sit in bed with some magazines for a while. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
The reindeer outing was a great success, and I spent all of 50p on an antler headband for each of the girls because they were so well behaved. So when I took them home it was a case of "Mummy, Daddy, have you got a stable for us to live in?"
Just having a :coffee: before I finish the afternoon's chores, then drive to the airport. Still on schedule

Awww, Pigpen what a beautiful photo. Congratulations.
Healing vibes to Dusty.
And Wendy, I have no close friends - well not counting the online ones I have made on here! There are several complicated reasons for this but I have read threads on here before where dozens of people are in the same boat. Just you take care of yourself.
Starting to wonder where DS2 is. He went into town without his phone (forgot it needed charging) and said he would borrow a mates phone to ring me when he needed picking up. Its dark now and I am sure he will be fine but I am waiting for the phone to ring.
Flying is minimal here, I am still not completely better, but I am chipping away at things rather than climbing mountains.0 -
pigpen congratulations to your DD and partner on the safe arrival of their lovely daughter, and to you for your first granddaughter.
(((Hugs)))) to all feeling in need of one. I am always so touched by the supportiveness of virtual friends on here, (have been on the receiving end) and hope that you feel it too.
DS2 home from uni for the weekend, was delayed on M25 for 2 hours las night, didn't get home until 1.30am. Possibly the hole in the road, and also an accident. Lovely to have him home, even if only briefly.
I was at an iPad workshop all morning, which I helped organise. All went really well, very successful, and also terrific fun. We went for a pub lunch after to celebratelate afternoon on sofa, recovering.

Ds1 was cleaning his teeth yesterday when he sneezed and banged his face on the washbasin and cut his lip and broke his front tooth in half. Yesterday was spent at the dentist.
Ds2 came home crying and trashed the house.

At 6pm I was going out to look for him then suddenly had the bright idea of using his now fully charged phone to ring one of his mates. All was well and he was wondering what the fuss was about. I have now put the numbers of his best friends in my phone.
I feel like I have had a really productive day and a couple of paperwork frogs munched too. My boy is 16 tomorrow - how did that happen? Will be out celebrating so nothing much will get done here.0
