Healing vibes Dusty, and welcome back, Skinty. Very sorry to hear the news about your friend wasn't good, Ionafan (hugs) for both of you.
Mrs Dog saw her now usual but newish to her vet. Things are not as straightforward as I'd hoped but fingers crossed, nonetheless. Of course she's poorly - we're off up the smoke next weekend. Foolish me for thinking I could have a two day annual holiday without the dog being poorly.
Off to Morribunds to declutter some more £££.Better is good enough.0 -

ER89 , thanks, it hasn't amounted to anything thankgoodness, hope your littlies are n the mend
The incredibles outfit went down a storm! Hurrah! I finished it at midnight:cool: a very happy little person trotted off to school. I agree with Valli et al regarding the cost of dressing up being utterly counterproductive. I'm getting more and more sick of this consumerist capitalist reality. It makes me really cross :mad: I have spent £3 on a sweatshirt that i have appliqued and transformed by hand and £11 on 3 pairs of leggings (one of which were red!!) which will be all be worn in day to day life, most importantly there's been a creative, hand made, make do and mend process, that dd has been part of and had role modelled by me. Also, I'm very proud, she took her children n need money from her pocket money even though I said I would give it to her, she wanted to give her own. Love her to bits.
Have hoovered downstairs again and transferred the little litter tray to an ENORMOUS one with a lip, which will hopefully stop the cats flicking half the tray out each time they use it:mad: off to the post office before school, then football drop off, tea and then beavers might try to fit in changing my bed as little ine left a beaker on it last might which I only discovered once it had soaked through the duvet, onto the mattress, sheet and my pyjamas at 4 am :mad: I confess I just put a towel on the mattress, budged up out of the wet patch, and went back to sleep :rotfl::p0 -
Have read Fred, but not retained much information.:(
GWS vibes where needed.
My self-confidence, never very good, has taken a bit of a knock - someone posted something a tad insensitive on another thread, and it's got to me a bit.:( Not their fault, they probably didn't know about my brainfog problems, but it's still hit me.
I also have a raging sore throat.:(
Jessie is busy decluttering black dog hair on the carpet.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Well we are all warmed up here, so two little beds have been stripped and remade, and the WM started. Kiddies can have a bath tonight.
Also S&S the kitchen and set DW going. We tidied under DD bed and did some reading.
Dinner is sorted for tonight, and we have no plans for the weekend, other than playing and resting. Oh and a bit more paid stuff.
The sun is trying to break through, praying the rain holds off until we are home from school - not sure I can deal with another drenching
How are you doing Honey Bear? You seem a little out of sorts this week? XBossymoo

GWS to everyone who needs it.
Hope the little one makes an appearance soon Pigpen.
I made my outfit for work today. I wore black leggings, black jumper, a wide belt, home made ears on a headband and a home made mask. I went as cat woman.
I still have 2 reports to finish for work, which I have been given an extension for, but I shall try to do them this evening.

I probably am a bit out of sorts, Bossy. Sorry for going too far. Mrs Dog has been behaving out of character this week (hence carpet washing) and I very much fear I know what the problem is. Which would mean a very, very difficult choice having to be made - the vet brought it up and we discussed it this morning, but we won't have all the information for about 10 days and even then we might not be certain. I've suspected it for about a month or so, and hoped and hoped and hoped I was wrong. Fingers crossed we're both wrong.
Gentle (((hugs))), Lamewolf. I think there's something in the air - people saying the wrong things all over the place, self included. And Cycling Yorkie; sorry, I meant to send you (((hugs))) earlier.
