Fingers and everything else crossed for a safe delivery for Piggers DD. Haven't been around much, sorry. Amongst other rubbish hurled at me is a falling out with my closest colleague at work. She thought I hadn't told her something and shouted at me in front of the kids... 10 days ago. We haven't spoken since. I am in bits about it, but she won't talk so there is nothing I can do.


Away for an impromptu family party in Leicester tonight. TBH I'd rather stay at home, but I will make the effort - train ticket and b&b booked....

I will ask again next week, but I'd like the list sorted and the draw done in the next 2 weeks, so gifts can be sent in early December...

Morning.

Hugs, sticks, vibes and spoons heading everyones way.

DD is in a foul mood today and was running late, which meant I ended up running late. Thankfully its a mainly house day today, I think I've done all my paid stuff for now. Only job left is one which I do sat in front of the TV as its boring and repetitive so I'll do that one later today. Phone call to work at 8.01am was over by 8.03am :j I'll find out tomorrow if things have been added or not when I access my invoice online.

Todays plan is to get as much of my weeks list cleared as possible. Due to the nature of most of it I'll be sat at my desk! Then I can get on with the cleaning. I need to clean this week as its my busy work week next week and I'm out Tuesday, working Wednesday and probably Thursday day time, definitely working Thursday evening and will have errands to run Friday! :eek: I may end up meeting myself coming back :rotfl:

Monday:
Ironing - slowly going down
Homework - Stuff due Wednesday

Tuesday:
HH knitting x 4 minimum 2 done! Loads more needed though.
Find some recipes I know I have lurking which I got from these forums
Shredding x 4 lots.
Dig out winter blankets & freshen them up as my bedroom is freezing despite the radiator being on full
Phone bank to arrange appointment.

Wednesday:
Homework for Tuesday
Write C-mas lists for non-DD peeps
HH planning my window for C-mas I bought a new colouring book the other week especially for this
HH me time - try to clear 1 magazine from pile.

Thursday:
Work (prepare books)

Friday:

Tea: Sausage mash & beans (comfort food for DD )
Sort Mr A delivery out for the weekend.
Purge receipts drawer
Nag DD to do her homework (2 pieces that I know of, the website isn't exactly clear!)
Hide DD's C-mas gift!
Fly as much as possible!

Monday Mayhem ~ Living Room, Hall and Stairs
15 minutes...
Vacuum floors and sofas
30 minutes...
Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Got an hour...
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!!
Put up linings or winter curtains to keep out those draughts.
Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –

• Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
• Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself
• Clean a window or two.
• Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
• Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!

Terrible Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
15 minutes...
Clean floors
30 minutes to spare...
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!
Clean the windows in here!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer need to be done too!!
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:

• Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
• Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
• 30 minutes ironing.
• Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
• Take a freezer/fridge inventory and see if you can start using it up and making space for christmas goodies!!

Wacky Wednesday ~ those frightening kids rooms
15 minutes...
Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see
Spend at least half an hour doing something for yourself!!!!!
30 minutes to spare...
Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc
Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!!
Got an hour...
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Make a start on that decorating job you REALLY want to get done before christmas!!!!!
Extra Task List

1. Go to bed early!!!
2. Hug a friend!!!
3. 30 minutes ironing..you know you want to do it!!!
4. Do something really crazy!! .. puddle jumping or singing all the way home from school or work!!

Thrilling Thursday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
15 minutes...
Remove and wash bed linen.
30 minutes to spare...
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen.. do you need that winter duvet yet?
Got an hour...
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Clear a hotspot., or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more

• 27 fling boogie time, time for that midweek fling, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
• Clean windows in these rooms
• Check house for places where draughts are getting in.. doors, windows etc and see if there are ways to stop it!

Freaky Friday- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
15 minutes...
Clean floors in these rooms
30 minutes to spare...
Clean baths, toilets and sinks
Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Got an hour...
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom..
Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or are dead!
Clear a mega hotspot!.. shred it.. and fling it.. or just burn it! .. Does anyone have a pulper to make logs from their old papers??

• Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
• clean the radiators and woodwork in these rooms
• Get those uniforms, games kits, coats and things in the wash which you will need on Monday

Cripes! Loads of long lists around. I know this place could do with a heck of a going over, but I can't function if my listy looks overwhelming.


My list for today:
1. [STRIKE]Book vet appointment for Mrs Dog.[/STRIKE]
2. Carpet scrubbing. Again.
3. Room of Doom 15 mins x 3.
4. Peg out washing on twirly thing and trolly while it's not tipping down.


And I no longer 'do' fancy dress. I'm busy the evening I'm invited to fancy dress parties - what a shame, I'm utterly devastated I'm not able to go, etc etc, although I love 'Super Cleaner'!

All wednesdayjobs now done! I have also put the oven racks in the bag and wiped all the glass with solution. I will need to rinse this all off later!

Off to swimming with ds2 now but will be back at lunch.

Go up in loft to get Christmas presents down to wrap and take to friends tomorrow (we won't see them before Christmas)

Haven't caught up on the thread yet but needed to post my list as the laptop still won't let my copy n paste to the word processor :mad:
Will be taking it slow today. Woke up with a headache, didn't sleep well, lots on my mind. I've taken pills but they're not working yet so my head hurts when I bend over
Feeling pretty sad at the moment. I know it'll sound stupid but my new phone now only has 12 contacts on it. To me it shows how many people actually give a s*** about me

We didn't go for coffee at the GC as she wasn't feeling up to it so I have come home for a quick cuppa and will then do a couple of errands in town. Catch up later...

Just made DD some lunch, we got a second drenching. I say we, I mean I. She's been rather unpleasant. I wouldn't mind, she was in the pushchair with the rain cover over, so was completely dry, then had a strop when I dripped on her because she didn't want to take her own boots off :mad:. When she did the same getting into the car after gymnastics, I gave her a piece of my mind the little s0d was perfectly dry, @rsing about refusing to fasten the seatbelt, meanwhile muggins here is getting wetter and wetter...
/rant lol

So I'm installed on the sofa with a hot vimto, heating is on and she's scoffing an apple and a sandwich. Flying is postponed until I've warmed up (in body and mood )
