Hi all - I'm in as best I can, current lupus flare notwithstanding. Well, I can't let the dratted lupus win, can I?;)
All the two-wolf tasks got done over the weekend; whatever else I don't do today I must throw the Dys0n round and construct a lasagne. Mr LW has a follow-up appointment with the urologist tomorrow afternoon, so I'm making a 2-day meal today so that we can just nuke and eat tomorrow.
I've done a WM load of Mr LW's clothes (set it up last night to come on early this morning) and just brought them in, all dry enough for the airing cupboard :T and picked up a bunch of dead fireworks off the back lawn

Katiecat (((HUGS))) I wish there was something I could say to make it all easier for you, hun.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Ok,

Downstairs all dusted and hoovered. Upstairs is tidy but need to dust, Hoover and conquer the bathroom.

Wm load is on the line, don't think it will dry but might get most of the wet out. Then transfer that to airer.

Must still do 2xhhi (prob do that this evening).

I can hear ds1 in the kitchen helping himself so better investigate.

Well done sushi half way there

Hello all. Suffered from a bit of fly-fatigue by the end of last week and abandoned the lists. Still, will try to hop back on the wagon this week. I MUST get some stuff sold/decluttered. I have a front room full of stuff that came back from the nearly new sale, I only sold 23 items (out of 101 :rotfl:) but made around £100 so m happy, but wished to shift a bit more :(

Been to asd@, baby group to help out, then allotment today, got back with a cuppa now and off out to school in a bit. Wm and Dw on, downstairs loo cleaned. Thought about trekking to library after school but that is going to involve finding the books........

Did a big cook up on the weekend, so I have cauliflower cheese, cheesy leeks, veg curry, chicken leftovers, and tomato pasta sauce all made ready for this weeks dinners. Had hoped to make a cake but ran out of ooomph :) chicken risotto again tonight but this time I have plenty (I bought a bigger chicken)

    (((Hugs))) KatieCat.

The bit of carpet that needed a wash has been thoroughly washed, about one third of the rest of the dining room carpet has been done and looks a lot better and various bits of stairs and a bit of landing have been tackled. I may do a tank load a day for a few days because several places are showing signs of grubiness.

And I did the bathroom this morning, and vaccummed the top layer, so all that's a bonus.
    Better is good enough.

(((Katiecat))) I think it's going to be hard the day he moves his things out. Can you have a really good friend over perhaps? No chance at all he want to talk things over, or go to Relate?

    Kitchen Done! (Usually do Monday)
    Cloakroom Done! (Ditto)

Then, apart from a walk, spent rest of day gripped by a French crime thriller I was reading. Oops.

Honeybear If you have children, possibly not until they move out. As long as they take their stuff with them.

I've managed to Dys0n the place, and the lasagne is ready to be cooked as soon as I know Mr LW is on his way home; not a lot else done, unless you count a plethora of online surveys.

Mr LW has informed me he's booked our 2015 holiday. I'm very nervous, because it's a long way out of my comfort zone, but he quite rightly says it's a once-in-a-lifetime trip. He's booked us on a cruise to see the Northern Lights and the total solar eclipse next March.

  • oh LW that sounds perfect, i do hope you are both in very good health and can enjoy it properly when holiday time comes round.

not sure how many more beer drinkers there are amongst the fly ladies (or their households) but our sains local has reduced spitfire to £1 a bottle that is pretty good value as well as being a nice pint (or 500ml thanks to the EU)
