    Morning all :D

LW - hugs for you and DH
Englishrose- hope the toothache eases off/gets sorted soon!

Yesterday was relatively successful. Did my BD appointment and got a booklet to fill out this week. One bit is like a timetable so I'm going to photocopy that one so I can use it each week since my commitments change each week ;) Normally its a 3 week rotation, but with it coming up the C-mas my hours for work change :rotfl: I then went C-mas window shopping in town. Do you have any idea how hard it is to go in sweet shops, especially old fashioned ones filled with sweets from your childhood, and not buy any as you're trying to loose weight? :rotfl: Got some bits for DD from elsewhere, came home and when she got in from school we went back out to town. Only DD decided she wanted to walk, and not the short way! I did cave and bought some sweets when I took her in another sweet shop I'd not been in, but I've looked up the nutrition & sorted out whats what per sweet :o I then hid the ones left, to make them last longer. By the time I got in last night and put my pjs on I'd walked over 7 miles and burnt off more calories than I'd consumed all day. If only I was able to do that every day ;)

Today I have to go to Mr A, pick up a book from a customer (which should be the last one), get these recipes typed up for DD as they're covered in sunflower oil and getting smelly :(. Then I'll work through the other things on my list. I half flew in the kitchen last night so since I shouldn't need to go out for the rest of the week, when I've done my lists I'll grab the ones from the first post and see what I have left to do ;)

    Monday:
    Ironing - slowly going down
Accounts - personal done, still need to do work ones but I have them written down so they just need putting into the software I use
    Type up recipes for DD
Homework - half done. Stuff due today is done, but I have more reading to do and I know I'll have things to from today.

    Tuesday:
    Update finances
    [STRIKE] BD appointment[/STRIKE]
HH knitting x 4 minimum (attempting to knit a gift, but I'm not sure its going to work out :() - managed 1, and I've changed my mind about what I'm knitting but can still use what I've done. I just need to do 4 more so need to speed up! :o
Find some recipes I know I have lurking which I got from these forums :o
    Shredding x 4 lots.
Dig out winter blankets & freshen them up as my bedroom is freezing despite the radiator being on full :(
    [STRIKE]Update TV listings[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Try to find somewhere selling the metal pin poppies.[/STRIKE]
    Phone bank to arrange appointment.

    Wednesday:
    Mr A
    Collect book
    Clear previous day lists
    Homework
Start Mr A delivery shop (stuff I don't need now, but can go with the next heavy/bulky shop I get delivered);)
    Update calenders
Write C-mas lists for non-DD peeps
HH planning my window for C-mas :DI bought a new colouring book the other week especially for this :D
HH me time - try to clear 1 magazine from pile.
Grab 1st post lists and start working through. ;)

Right, time to get my shopping list sorted, and maybe some other paper based things while waiting for my phone to charge, my laptop to finish its scan, and while I have a second coffee as I'm struggling to wake up today.
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Dot feels better today.. mixed emotions on that one.. a bit more peace and quiet would have been very welcome, but at least she is feeling well enough to be naughty, cheeky, loud and argumentative!!

Pixie is.. devouring everyones breakfast left overs.. she is a grot, she is licking Squeaks weetabixy bowl..

I am still very bunged up but the coughing has abated a little so at least I could get a bit of sleep.. was still up twice with Pixie, once with Dot and twice to blow my nose/cough up a lung!

Kettle to go on now and Pixie to feed her own food! after she has had her nose wiped.. BLEURGH!!!!!

Kettle on here, Dusty. The blogger Frugal Queen has relatively recently started posting gluten-free recipes including fruit cake. And, did you know you can make Twinks with almond flour?

Healing vibes for your toothache English Rose. And Pigpen plus littlies.

Carpets drying rather nicely. I should have got the carpet washer out in the summer and I meant to but I seemed to be busy doing other things although I can't remember what.
    Better is good enough.

I was very rarely allowed sweets as a child so no.. but I avoid shops I cannot resist yummies from.. fresh cream mini sponge cakes from Cooplands.. I don't even like cake but these are divine.. I just don't go in, it's easier!

I can convince myself I will get some 'next time' and that today I cannot afford to buy... but that's not 100% guarantee'd.

Kaz.. sorry, I missed your post yesterday.. The shop had no weetos so OH got weeto meteors.. stars, hoops and balls.. it was not good enough.. she snooted at them and asked for Weetabix! Glad you are feeling more positive today.. was yesterday maybe a hormonal glitch?

    Morning all.

I managed the dailies and some computer work yesterday, and DH and I enjoyed the theatre evening. Various phonecalls received and made have turned Friday and Saturday upside down and may mean that I can't see DGDs this weekend :( However, the course that I was supposed to be running over the next four Fridays is being cancelled and rescheduled for early 2015, which at least gives me breathing space. Have just sychronised diaries with DH, which means I can now look forward to December with a modicum of pleasurable anticipation rather than dread.

My friend's clinic appointment has come through for Friday morning, so that is one good thing.

Today's list looks remarkably like yesterdays :o
    - speak to 3 people about Friday
    - make soup for 20 people at church lunch and help with washing up
    - visit my friend
    - finish F course notes and lists
    - check what resources need making for P course
    - bake fruit loaves
    - make cauliflower cheese
    - QHI and finish back of teddy this evening while catching up with TV

(((Hugs))) to all in need and GWS vibes to Englishrose re toothache.

A few spoons left in the jar - help yourselves: when they're gone, they're gone. x

Oh gosh, I'm with you on that one, I just cannot be trusted around the sweetie treaties :o

I'm with pigpen on this one, I avoid the shops if I can. Do online grocery shopping and stick to my list, and my nemesis is the pound shop. I haven't been in one for weeks. I give the kiddies £1 every Saturday for sweets for themselves. They don't need them every day.

Kiddies are away to school and I'm WFH and waiting for my Mr A shop to arrive (no treats! Lol).
Just hope I get all my paid stuff done today - it's not looking good, and being on here isn't helping :p
