I'm afraid the only thing I might manage on the lists for today is going to bed early, as I feel a bit pants.
I have however managed to make a start on the superhero outfit I have to wear on Friday for children in need. I am going to be cat woman. The ears are made and the mask is cut out.£1000 Emergency Fund #175 - £598/£1000

Hi all
Feeling loads better, think the antibiotics are kicking in. Have read 229 pages of a very good book. Oh and the boss rang me back to say I shouldnt go in to work until I am better, it wasnt quite an apology but the thought was there.
This is a bit of a wake up call though. I really thought I was coming down with something nasty. Its made me realise that I just cant keep going at 100 miles an hour and need to make some down time. Why do I find it so hard to stop though?
Embb, this is a great place to meh away and get it off your chest. We all do it from time to time!0 -
thank you for that link Dusty, ive knitted boobs before for that use or as breast feeding aids so midwives and district nurses can demonstrate with but i will certainly be happy to knit some from that pattern.
The patterns are under the 'more' drop down on the end of the list

Evening!
Some flying achieved here. A little. Not finished paid stuff (as expected) but never mind. DD and I have no plans tomorrow other than her relaxing, so I'll probably get an hour or two done then.
Everything got chucked out into the conservatory tonight, so it's a tip out there. But I have tidied the LR, hall and kitchen, vacced all around and cleaned the downstairs loo. Also made a lush dinner of chicken kebabs while kidlets were out at swimming with inlaws, so everyone fed too. I made French onion soup in the slow cooker today as well so lunch is sorted for tomorrow.
WM and DW are both going, so I'll hang the bits up when WM finished.
Tomorrow I shall start a declutter of carpy toys, finish off my new lego storage solution and have a good clean and tidy of the conservatory. And work. And meal plan / inventory of freezer and store cupboard.
On Friday DD has gymnastics then in the afternoon I'm going to clear out a kitchen cupboard. I might plan a trip to the tip for next Monday - good job I had bin liners in my shopping delivery!
Sounds like a lovely day, mrs mp scans are so exciting. Glad the little one is "cooking" nicely!
I don't knit, but that link is amazing, dusty what a lovely thing.Bossymoo

Hi - thanks Dusty - not sure my "scarf only" knitting prowess is up to that!! But I had heard of them and had them on my reserve list just in case! Love the ones with nipples.
Had a new recipe tonight - country pork bake - absolutely delicious so it is on our favourites list. Very easy to do - chop it all up and bung in the oven!!!
Been for a very long walk in two stages - 8.2 km altogether so no wonder I am falling asleep. Also managed shopping, ironing, cleaning bits of kitchen and some wrapping. We also renewed house and car insurance - very bad timing having them both in ten days of each other!
Catch up again tomorrow. Have a good rest of the evening.July 16 £95/£200

Tomorrow is a work day, and as I'm behind with it I can see it being an all day job. I have the stuff in for making a nice big pan of scouse for tea so will get that in the slow cooker in the morning and I won't have to worry about cooking thenGoing to have a quick potter/tidy up then I'm off to bed. DD will just have to cope with a not-fully-charged phone.
