CBT will be over the phone cazzy, much to my cousin's disgust! (She works in mental health in another area and thinks I should have face to face). I'm just happy to take anything going! Xx

I've had over the phone cbt, its not too bad, like face to face I guess, you are required to work on targets, currently I'm working through low self esteem issues. I went through one period of counselling and phone cbt about three years ago. Then around October, I started crying and getting really upset for no reason, and my bf who is amazingly supportive suggested counselling and help. I couldn't have gotten through my last five months without him, I get upset more than once a week, e.g. today one of my friends is making me feel like the worst friend in the world, even though I have been as supportive as I can be. He puts up with a lot!

I hope your first session goes well, imho any kind of being able to get things off your chest to someone who doesn't have a vested interest is extremely helpful. I also chatted to a friend via a social networking site and they said that speaking to people who are going through the same as you helps. I guess it's really hard to explain to others just exactly what you are going through! I function relatively normally I guess, I work full time, have a normal functioning relationship with bf. On top I look like a graceful swan, underneath I'm flapping like mad!! So to other people it looks like we're ok, but it's not, far from it, not like a physical illness by any stretch of the imagination xx

Well done on the debt reduction, you'll soon be sub £2k. Glad the meds seem to be working for both you and Mr Lucky. Fingers crossed March is a good month for you x

  • Cazzy, you hit the nail on the head with the flapping swan analogy!! I'm just like you on that one! Sorry things are tough for you though, but I'm glad you have lots of support, despite a less than brilliant friend. I hope today has been better for you.

Not much to report here today, but all is well. Went to gym this morning but couldn't be bothered with clubbercise tonight. I didn't sleep well last night so I think I'm just running on empty. DH has been ok and the boys are both well, so happy days!

Ah Lucky we can be swans together! My days are ok, mostly go without a hitch...but I am really struggling mentally at the moment, again some days are better than others. Not to dwell too much on it, because this is your diary, but I have really really bad low self esteem, to the point where I am worried it will ruin my relationship :( bless my bf he puts up with so much, and he gives me no reason to ever believe that would be the case!!

Is gym helping? One of my friends says that helps a lot!! If so keep it up :)

Hope tomorrow is a good'en xx
