Ah Lucky we can be swans together! My days are ok, mostly go without a hitch...but I am really struggling mentally at the moment, again some days are better than others. Not to dwell too much on it, because this is your diary, but I have really really bad low self esteem, to the point where I am worried it will ruin my relationship
bless my bf he puts up with so much, and he gives me no reason to ever believe that would be the case!!
Is gym helping? One of my friends says that helps a lot!! If so keep it up
Hope tomorrow is a good'en xx
I am another swan so can identify with you both so much, nobody really knows that I am panicking inside and feel really low as I continue to function.
With regards counselling offered through your GP, the IAPT service ( Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) firstly offers everyone CBT and depending on the demand (high demand - group work, telephone and lastly 1:1) so great you are getting telephone 1:1 rather than a group.
CBT onus is one you to work with the therapist to change your behaviour and use both strategies and changing thought processes. It doesn't suit everyone yippee if it works but don't be afraid to say, what other choice do I have ..... Remember to tell your counsellor everything that is causing you distress however small, as the more bigger picture, entails that you build a case to be referred to the type of counsellor who helps you understand and make sense of the traumas that are causing your distress. does that make sense?
Really happy to have a PM conversation if that helps, speaking with my MH occupational Therapy hat on

Aw Cazzy, sorry to hear you are struggling with self esteem. You always come across really well on here. Don't worry about it being my diary, if you want to talk on here you are more than welcome.

Thanks BM, makes perfect sense. Sorry you are feeling low too. I'm looking forward to the CBT, but I've felt much more myself today. I had an issue to deal with this afternoon with DS1's school, and did so much more as 'Lucky' than as the quivering anxious wreck I have been of late!! Long may that continue! DH had waves again this morning but thus far nothing else has developed and he has otherwise had a good day. Been a bit of a spendy day as we went too Bee and Queue and got things we've been meaning to get for ages, like hooks for the back of DS1's door and a new shower screen seal etc. We also went to pets @ home and bought the cat a scratching post as she has taken a shine to the stair carpet .
DS1 is off on a 3 day residential trip with school tomorrow but came home in tears saying he wasn't going . Rang the head of year and sorted out the issues, so now he's happy again thank goodness!
Gained 3lbs at chub club but not bothered in the slightest, as I thought that might happen after my epic loss last week. I've still lost weight overall so it's all good.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I am really impressed with that gain.. Really low!! Well done you
although still worried you aren't eating
Poor DS1. Hope he really enjoys himself! I cried all the way to my residential. Loved it, and cried at coming home :rotfl:
Glad DH has had a better day. Hope your stress levels have eased a bit. I brought you some cake..xxx

Cake very well received! Cheers Lilt! I'll admit to not eating on Sunday, but otherwise I promise I've been scoffing!!
Beanie, it's so annoying when they do that isn't it??!! £16.50 for a new post is cheaper than a new carpet, but still :eek: XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
