I will, I promise! They either had urgent 5 minute appointments for today, which I didn't think was necessary (or long enough!), or I have to wait the 4 weeks. I've been 'ok' for the last 3 days, but the minute I have a bad day I will call up to be seen. Failing that, I can keep ringing each day in the hope of a cancellation.
DH is with a different practice, I may see about changing to them??
Today's good deed (apart from posting the parcel I failed to do yesterday) was to pass on some costumes that DS2 has grown out of, on to the little brother of someone in his class. His Mum was telling me the other day that he loves to dress up and often runs round with a towel pretending it's a cape, so I suggested to DS2 that we gave him some of the costumes he can barely fit in to any more. Thankfully, he was more than happy to do so.
I also walked MiL's dog while she was out for lunch, but again that's not over and above! Can't have him wetting himself!!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sounds like a pretty productive day:)
I bet the other kid will love the costumes and very thoughtful of you as ever.
On the appointment front, I think if you call 111 they can prioritise an appointment for you using their internal system directly to your GP. If not that then they can arrange for you to see someone else, perhaps at the hopsital instead (nothing scary so don't worry)
I saw an emergency locum once for anxiety and she actually turned out way better than my own GP.
But sadly other than that we have the same 4- week kind of timeframe for making normal appointments, its so impractical, far too long.
Almost over hump day and onto the home straits of another week, I hope it will lead you into a nice and anxiety-free weekend. x- on a mission to be debt-free by the end of 2017 -

It's disgusting having to wait 4 weeks even for a non-urgent appointment. Unfortunately it seems to be the same wherever you are, our doctors is just as bad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Does your own gp fully know your circumstances and that you have such a full on carers role?
It could be beneficial to all be at the same surgery to save longwinded explanations.
Hugs for you xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
I'd recommend you having the same GP as DH to save long winded explanations of your full on carers role.
