Sorry Lilt, I missed your post. I hope Jelly goes to sleep soon. DS2 is still watching the end of How to Train your Dragon 2, but his eyes are like slits. He'll be in bed the minute the credits roll XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

All quiet now though, daren't go in and put washing on her radiator to dry just yet mind you... just in case she bounces up with a 'Hennnnoo Mummy!!' xx

Cazzy, welcome to my diary! I'm afraid it's not all about debt reducing as I use it to let of steam about DH and our life since his severe brain injury. Good luck with saving for a mortgage. I'm thrilled to have reduced so much debt and look forward to turning my attention to the mortgage when it's gone. We had a policy on our mortgage which should have cleared it after DH's accident, but the insurance company managed to wangle their way out of paying some of it. They paid £88k off our £110k mortgage, so we are left paying the rest. I realise I'm very lucky to have had anything paid off my mortgage, but I'd way rather be putting my money into a savings account than into the mortgage. Wouldn't we all?!?!
Absolutely. I will read on with interest, I truly think this website is a great community, and I'll hopefully try and contribute as best I can

If you enjoy surveys thats fine.
Other than that I think the time far outweighs the rewards.
Maybe that is just me.

I used to do surveys and I had a fab one once got £50 for listening to music for Smooth Radio. Took 3 hours though but you could do it bit by bit. Don't have the time now for surveys but if you can spare the time then good luck with them.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

I read Robin's suggestion yesterday of you keeping a diary of possible triggers, perhaps you could encourage DH to keep one of little details about his day, anything that springs into his mind as he goes along.
It may help him to feel like he is regaining a little bit of control of himself and he can then look back on it when he wants. I remember you saying he had taken some photos which got deleted and is easily done by anyone, maybe a diary would be an alternative step & almost a comparison to what you note down for the doctors to review.

Thank you Trix, I shall do mention that to DH and get him to do it. It will be interesting to see things from his perspective. I appreciate you taking the time to post and I hope you will continue to do so.
SA, I will probably not find the time, but I was thinking if the weather was bad and the boys were at school I could survey rather than shop!! £50 would be a lovely incentive though if I could get a survey like that.

Hey Mrs H, thanks for that, no I don't use ipsos mori so shall look into that.
I spoke to Mr Lucky last night about keeping some sort of feelings diary, and although it took a while to convince him, I think he's going to try. He's worried he will forget, or if he's having a particularly bad day (ie the days we really need to know about!), he won't be able to do it. He tried to think about his whole day at 10pm last night and got nowhere, so was quite dismissive of the idea immediately, but I pointed out that it was to be done as he went along rather than trying to remember later on. We will see how he gets on.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Morning Lucky! It's hard to convince men to do what they perceive as girly things like keeping a diary without throwing a brain injury into the mix.It would be good if he could do it though if he can get into the habit.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
