I very rarely post but have always read your diaries and have to say you are a true inspiration. How you have coped in extremely difficult circumstances and have kept your family going through thick and thin is quite remarkable. It must be incredibly hard living with your husband and his brain injuries, let alone being mum to two boys almost single handedly. You give so much of yourself all the time to keep everyone, not just ticking over, but happy. The strain on you must be huge, so I think you are allowed to have melt downs every so often and a good cry can help relieve all those bottled up emotions.
I am sure your two sons love you very much but being boys and being the age they are does not work in your favour. I am sure they will come good in the end and when older will look back and understand just how wonderful mum was in keeping everything going. You may have to wait a while for this realisation to hit but one day it will.
Many people on these boards are in awe of you and also SA who I know battles many similar problems to yours on a daily basis. You are quite unaware of your own self worth but I am pretty confident many people admire your sheer determination and also your humour when times are tough.
If you could give awards for pure selflessness you would hold the gold star. I am a lot older than you with two adult children and I honestly don't think I could have coped with what life has thrown at you.
So just remember when times are tough you are one hell of a lady and I for one raise my hat to you, and I hope 2018 brings you much joy, you really deserve it.0 -

Lol thanks everyone.
It’s 7 nights in a villa in Orlando, flights and car hire. It’s yet to be booked but has to be taken April to September which is perfect anyway. Don’t know if we get to choose the villa or if it’s chosen for us and we have to fly from Gatwick or Manchester but that’s not a problem. Soooooo excited.

That's brilliant, so all you will need is spending money. If you get chance to go to Busch gardens at Tampa it's well worth a drive down. Also not sure if you went last time to seaworld as that's worth a visit, it has some of the best roller coaster rides in Orlando. xx
Also staying in a villa means that you don't need to take as many clothes as there will be a washer and dryer.0
