Lovely to hear you had such a good time away.
Hope you and the family have a brilliant Christmas x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
Spent yesterday in a busy but happy flap. Discovered we had no bin bags (DH had obviously used the last one and forgotten to tell me) so I was in Mr T’s just after 7am. I made DH and the boys stay home after DH exploded at someone in the car park the day before . To be fair the guy was a #%!@&?, but it’s worrying that DH could just lose it and do something he’d regret.
Saw my Grandma in the afternoon to give her presents and then called to my cousin’s which was great. We put the World to rights and it cheered me up after a flat few days.
I got most of my wrapping done when the boys went to bed :T.
Today I’m taking the boys trampolining to hopefully tire them out and burn off some excitement. DH is staying home with best mate and they are putting DS2’s new loft bed together which is his present from MiL for Christmas.
Have a magical day everyone XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Good idea to leave DH at home while you shop. I can understsnd the temptation to explode at sombody as people can be very irritating at this time of year .
Glad you enjoyed seeing Grandma, older relatives can be a very soothing influence.
I hope the boys have a great time at the trampoline park and you all have an amazing Christmas eve :xmassmileFinally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Merry Christmas all :xmassign::xmastree:.
Hope everyone has had a lovely day. We were woken by the boys at about 6.40am which could’ve been worse, and they were both very happy with their gifts. We went to MiL’s for lunch and my Mum and her partner came too. I’m lucky that everyone gets on so well.

Afternoon PLMBL,

Glad you had a lovely day xxMummytogirls x0 -
I’ve had a few tears today
. DS1 made a (supposedly jokey) comment about how easy I am to manipulate into doing what he wants me to do and it hit a nerve. I try so hard to make everyone happy and have the things they want, but I’m damned if it’s going to be assumed or taken advantage of. Yesterday I got two presents totalling £5, both of which I bought myself. No one put any effort or thought into ‘me’ at all. Christmas to me is honestly about my family not presents, but I don’t like feeling unappreciated. It’s not the first time DS1 has made comments like this, last week he was telling DS2 how to get me to buy things in the supermarket (ie look for things on special offer as I’m the reduction/coupon Queen!!).
Yesterday was a NSD. Today hasn’t been as I took DS2 to Mr A’s to buy something with his Christmas money and I bought a couple of bottles of pop while I was there.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Oh Lucky I know just how you feel xx
Unfortunately our offspring can be cruel, I doubt they really mean what they say, but they don't realise the impact they have with their remarks.
This is why every so often I take a day off work and treat myself, stuff the rest of them.
Big hugs from me xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
