Hope you're feeling a bit more upbeat now, Lucky - has the dishwasher saga reached a happy conclusion yet?
Well done to young Oakley on his impending stardom - Musketeer got his ugly-mug into an up-coming advert for a dog-toy, but nobody mentioned wages for that! :rotfl:0 -

Hello from Edinburgh! We are having a great time despite the cold, the bickering and DS1 being asleep already because he doesn’t feel well . Hotel is lovely and we were upgraded to a suite :T. Shame we had to move rooms today because of a fault, but we are in another suite anyway. Whats another pack and unpack when you’ve done it twice in 2 days anyway . Today we have been swimming in the hotel pool, been to the Christmas Markets, had lunch in the cafe where JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter and visited Greyfriars Kirk made famous by Bobby the dog. Lovely times.
The last few days at home disappeared in a flash of Nativity plays, a trip to the Pantomime, gymnastics performances, Christmas school fairs and shopping. We also dropped Oakley off with the breeder while we are up here and had snuggles with a 5 day old puppy.
Dishwasher came from second store a few days ago and works like a dream. Much better experience all round. The first store still haven’t resolved my complaint. Head office rang store manager and asked her () to ring me with an offer of a £30 gift card by way of compensation. I refused it, saying I never wanted to deal with the store again and would prefer cash. That was almost a week ago and I’ve heard nothing else.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Glad you had a fab time.
Did you go & see the ice sculptures?
Boo to the store from hell.
Their CS is so bad these days.

We haven’t been to see the ice sculptures yet Beanie. Have you been? Will pencil that in over the next couple of days. Also want to try camera obscura, the castle, Dynamic Earth and the butterfly world. Have booked zoo for Monday hoping it will be quieter as schools aren’t off yet.
Sorry to hear your friend also had a rubbish experience . XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
