Why is nothing straight forward these days. So stressful when you buy anything. I'm due a delivery of a corner sofa at the weekend, slightly nervous it won't fit. On the notes it says there will be only one person delivering it, let's hope he's a strongman as all my lot are out at the weekend.x

  • That is awful Lucky . Demand a lot of compensation or you will rubbish them online . It's very nice of MIL to buy you a dishwasher though :).

Glad you enjoyed the concert :).

  • Thanks for all the sympathy everyone :A. Still haven’t heard re compensation, but the (second!) faulty dishwasher is being collected tomorrow. We’ve ordered a new one (different make!!!) from someone else which is coming next week.

    Some positives today.

It’s been confirmed that Oakley will be appearing in the magazine and it’s out next week :D. £25 cheque coming our way :T.

A flustered business man was late for a meeting in the carpark today and had no change for the machine. I offered him a £2 coin which was all I had and he insisted I took his £5 note .

Took DS1’s faulty gaming headset back to Arg0s. At nearly 7 months old I thought they might want to send it away for repair, but they exchanged it no problem, and DS1 is thrilled to have a better one :j.

    Aw Oakley the superstar :)

Argos are brilliant with returns, they exchange or refund without question. They're usually my first port of call when making a purchase. Pity the same can't be said for other retailers.

  • Red cross is back on the door :(. DH is on antibiotics for a chest infection now. DS2 had a sore mouth (?!) last night and insisted he had to sleep with me so I could keep him safe. Quite cute really, but thankfully he was fine this morning and went to school.

2nd dishwasher was collected yesterday. Still haven’t heard from the Customer Services re complaint, but the store manager rang me to say she was disgusted they hadn’t got back to her either, and was taking it further.

Got weighed today and gained 2lbs. Totally fine with that as I didn’t get weighed last week with being ill and it’s hard at this time of the year to eat properly when I’m so busy (and skint!).
