  • Hi all, thanks for thinking of me. I am feeling much more human now. Still a bit snotty but otherwise functional :D.

Made it to the concert last night and it was ace. Mr C is looking much older, walking with a stick and having to sit down throughout, but man he can still sing. His 16 year old son was his drummer, and I can’t help thinking that this tour is to give his son a helping hand to stardom, but it’s well deserved and they were both epic. The seats were great too.

Christmas tree and decs are up. Feeling festive :D Xx

  • Hi all, been lying low as I’m up-a-height!

Don’t know if I mentioned it with all the sickness bugs, nights out, etc, but MiL wanted to buy us a new dishwasher for Christmas. Found one in the sales around Black Friday for £199 reduced from £349. Ours hasn’t worked for a couple of years and it hasn’t bothered me, but MiL really wanted to get us a new one so we organised it.

    It’s been a total nightmare.

    In a nutshell,
We waited 9 days for delivery not 4 as promised and when it came it was visibly damaged. The door had an outward crease in it so our cupboard door wouldn’t fit over it. They took it back.
We were told we’d have to wait until 21st December for the same model, or we could choose another, but only up to the £199 value we paid, and of course all the sales have finished. The customer service was awful.
Arranged for a different model to be delivered and it arrived yesterday. Plumbed it all in, to find it doesn’t work at all . Tried to call customer services to be told we had to speak to the delivery team as it had only just been delivered. An hour later we still couldn’t get through.
Rang them again this morning, to be told ‘oh we can’t deal with it now as it’s not the day we’ve delivered it, you need to speak to manufacturer’.
Manufacturer refused to speak to me saying I’d failed security as the store had given them the wrong details for my name and phone number.
Beyond annoyed. Manager sorting it out for me with compensation apparently. Dishwasher going back and a refund being given, but we now have a hole where our old dishwasher used to be :(.

    Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhh! Xx
