Believe me, one day you'll look back and think 40 is still young. This is coming from someone who has felt old since I was 19 when someone said to me I didn't realise you were so old!

I feel a virtual big 4-0 party coming up with you and Pennywise :)

Ooh penny, when’s your big 4-0? Xx

I feel ancient to PLMBL, I was out with a friend a couple of weeks ago in the evening and as we were leaving a restaurant a group of girls literally fell out of a taxi wearing next to nothing, we both said at the same time they will catch there death in this weather, we then burst out laughing at how old we sounded as we used to be those girls:rotfl:,now i'm sat in my pjs on NY eve wondering if I should go to bed.

The 4-0 is in April, but i'm just going to tell people i'm 39 and a bit, i'm also not planning on having a big celebration.
  • Mentally I felt the same (ie mature/boring) since I was about 12. Physically I’ve aged loads recently :(.

Penny, DH is 40 in June, and I’m September. I’m also sat in my pjs right now, wishing I could go to bed. I’m only staying up because the boys want to!! Xx
