I rang LTSB to request a list of charges, rang them back two weeks later and was told that my request had been passed on to the correct department.
40 days were up and I still hadn't got the charges through, so I rang them yesterday,to be told that I had to send it in writing. Grrrr...
I think the problem is because you asked for a list of charges, if you had asked for the bank statements rather than just the charges i get the feeling you may have got them straight away, I may be wrong though but thats what i am thinking.
Heres what i did, i just registered for internet banking which cost me nothing then i just downloaded 6 years of statememts and printed them all off. This cost me nothing at all apart from the paper and ink
Why dont you try that.

I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am not sure how to write a financial hardship letter. What needs to be included in the letter. any help would be gratefully received.0

ive just had a letter throught the door saying that my case will be blah blah blah, telling me nothing, except its being sent somewhere.
i then phoned the "andover" department with my reference number, and was told that lloyds isnt taking or refunding financial hardship cases except in majorly exceptional circumstances.
im a 20 year old, earn 700-800 a month, have outgoing of 550 a month, and live in cambridge(a exceptionally expensive place for a 20 year old to be living out of the parents house)
i get bank charges of 150 and all i can ever get help with is increasing my overdraft, it was only 300 to start with, and has gone up to a £1250 limit, as they have "graciously" allowed me to increase the overdraft(althought if i was to ask them id get told to f right off.
im kinda at a stuck end, was told my case is on hold. where do i take this now, i have borrowed money to pay theese debts and 500 on a credit card, im so screwed for a year or 2 its unbelieveble.
THEESE MORONS ARE TAKING MORE OFF MY WAGES THAN THE TAXMAN FOR GOD SAKE!!0 -
one thing to remember - don't let them fob you off. Keep going. You've nothing to lose except the postage, and everything to gain. My OH got a 'full and final settlement of £750' just over two thirds of what he was claiming. He wrote back saying thanks very much, we are keeping it as part settlement and expect the rest when we win the court case.
Might remind them we are still around in the next couple of weeks.I'm stressed enough over this - please don't add to it.:eek:0 -
so are lloyds actully still investigating and paying out on financial difficulty cases, ive borrowed off family to pay off so many of them.
what do you think i should do? write again, or phone them, cus im sure theyle put it on hold again.0 -
Sorry should have said - this was just as the court case started.
But you still need to get all paperwork in to them if you want to proceed with the claim anyway. Don't be fobbed off with refusals fo any kind, and keep a copy of everything you send.
We are still wanting the rest of the money back so will keep reminding them that we are still here and waiting for it.
I don't want to sound unkind but my OH was always getting into the red and I stopped him from using the account until we got that side of things sorted. I made him do everything in cash. Its difficult but you have to be very hard on yourselfI'm stressed enough over this - please don't add to it.:eek:0 -

Thanks Cougar, but no, apparently I can't request the statements over the phone, despite them telling me initially that I could and then making me wait 40 days before telling me otherwise.
I would look on the internet, but I balance-transferred a few weeks ago and closed the account.0 -
Hi everyone,
Just wondered if theres ANYONE who has won a claim against Lloyds under the financial hardship clause?? Im trying to reclaim on 2 bank accounts for my parents.
Lloyds replied to the first letters we sent saying that the test case was ongoing blah blah blah and that they were sending a copy of the letter to the collections department, although they have heard nothing from these people.
Not really sure what the next step should be. They are definately in hardship and have had more than £500 in charges in the last year. I have advised my mum to phone CCCS as martin suggests they will produce a letter you can send to the bank. Is this likely to help??
 Lloyds are such !!!!ers!
Not news to anyone on this thread I can imagine!
ThanksReclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so farHSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £4000 -
Lloyds are definetely !!!!ers!!! I have written about 3 letters so far and recieved the same letter back from them evrytime!! really getting annoyed now!! something needs to be done about them!!0

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie and thought I'd start telling the story (so far) of my reclaim against Lloyds.
I used the templates from this site and after 35 days received a list of my charges. With interest this amounted to approx £9k.
I have sent the 2nd reclaiming letter this evening by registered post and as I am claiming via the hardship route will await with interest (excuse the pun) as to what happens next.
This is a great forum and I have been reading it for many months and I was finally inspired to do something about my own situation.
I am however not holding my breath as Lloyds don't seem to be paying out very often, if at all.0
