Right another beanie question.
When I fell the other night I somehow broke one of the knobs on the dresser which is used to open the door of the dresser.

Could you buy a new knob for it? I know you can get sets of drawer/door knobs that screw on that don’t cost a lot. As you know I’ve been there, done that and shrunk the t-shirt on replacing broken things after Mr SA’s many falls ☹️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I bought a pack of 4 for £6.99 from Homesense. Really nice ones too. However I think you could buy individual ones from hardware stores for a lot less.beanielou said:

It sort of depends how the existing knobs are attached, but one possibility is to swap its' location with the least-used knob and repair it (assuming it did not shear off) - some have a screw from the back (inside), others are stuck. If you were to stick, I would not use a standard wood glue - I would use a 2-part epoxy glue that has to cure.
