My head is still sore & I have a couple of big bumps.
I am coming to realise that I have all these lasting reminders of past falls.
Varies lumps & bumps that have never gone away.
Quite sobering.
When I fell the other day I broke a bit of my dresser which is over 30 years old.
Most annoying.
Also a picture of my mum.
I need to knuckle down & do my PIP form.
I have been out of sorts for days & this is not helping.
I fear we are coming to a end of an era with our dear Queen
Pleased about the price cap.

Sorry to hear about your falls, and hope you are ok.
I've been enjoying Shetland too, do you have a suspicion on who it is? DH and I have differing opinions.
The books by Ann Cleeves set in North Devon are good too."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Just like that that amazing woman of service & majesty has gone.
We will not see her like again.

Good luck with the PIP beanie. had a long wait until I managed to get througth to the call centre to make sure they had recieved it as it was dated long before it was delivered here and well past the return date. They had recieved it but the person I'd spoken to forgot to alter the date for return as promised and Ihad to phone again. All went well but everything seemed so slow.I wasn't a fan of royalty but make an exception for her majesty. Her love for husband and children shone from her and she worked for the UK daily.Watching her sitting alone at her beloved husbands funeral was such a contrast to all those not following the rules. She needed a warm hand to hold but did the right thing.Makes me hope there is life after death and she will see her beloved Philip again.pollyxIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.5 -

To be fair I don't normally bang my hard so hard & I was in the house.
I said to DS that if I popped off he would know what had happened.
Black humour.

Beanie love the black humour…..it gets us through. I remember a family member who had had surgery for yet another fractured leg. About 8ish yrs old at the time, coming round after the ordeal saying….. ‘good job I’m not a horse…..they’d have shot me’ we both fell about laughing hysterically- the nurse looked at us as if we’d lost our minds 😂😂😂😂January spends - £587.584
