Morning all, all sorted for kids off to school this am, going to pop to the allotment this am, maybe do playgroup, get some bits from sainsbos that dh didn't think of (weren't on the list and funnily enough he's not psychic !). Find the library books and take squids to library after school. Chicken risotto with leftovers from yesterday's roast for tea- I am going to have to be a bit creative though as dh served up yesterday and didn't leave a lot of leftovers and the 2 yr old declared a thing for the legs and gnawed on both of them- her meal yesterday was 2 pretty much whole legs and a few carrots :/

    Have a good day flyladies!

As I am now over 4st lighter than I was this time last year - I have a new coat - well the zip stuck and not worthe reapiring on an old one on Saturday - a new bra that fits! and a size 12 skirt!!!!!!!! Now owe our savings acct lots of money but will spread it over the next few months.

MrsMP.. YOU know it was nothing to do with you if she was silly enough to injure herself doing something herself rather than having a little patience that is her problem not yours.. silly MIL!! Maybe in future she will wait and not be so hasty to cause herself more injury!

I've run out of yarn for Moomins blanket so I am using up superchunky remnants to make a striped hat.. it may end up at the oncology unit.. or it may end up as a gift.. I'll see how I feel when I have finished.. 4 rows done so far!

Wot pigpen said, mrs-mp! I expect MIL was kicking herself and the way she spoke to you reflected her annoyance at herself. She would not have spoken like this in a rational, pain-free, anxiety-free moment. Try to forget it and start the new week with clean slates all round (it's the only way I survive). (((Hugs)))

Sainsbugs have offered me 3500 N€ct@r points for spending 4x £60 in November. I have thrown away the coupon because there's no way that I shall do that when @ld1 is nearer and cheaper.

    :hello: Mumto5 and Vanilla

Mamaninie, have you got some bits of bacon or ham and/or a few mushrooms you could add to the risotto?
Busy granny, your phoneman having to get into the wardrobe sounds like a Carry On film :rotfl:

The sun is shining here. Ancestors filed away neatly until I have time to deal with them one at a time. First frog eaten (eggshells). Second frog about to be tackled (an email). Then kitchen (but DH :A has already done the washing up)

Back later... Hugs, spoons and sticks to all who need them x
  • morning all!

All small peeps dispatched to work, so now I have time to fly. and boy do I need to fly.

Mrs MP - I completely understand your frustration re MIL. I had the same frustration with FIL and still have it with my mum. All you can really do is grit your teeth. And vent on here, of course...

    FLYLADY SECRET SANTA

I have volunteered to organise this again this year. (Unless anyone else desperately wants to.) So I'm just asking is this okay with everyone?
