  • Morning everyone! Children off to school, DH ill in bed, keeping baby ccupied with cbeebies on the laptop. I'm working this AM, then off to the garden centre in search of bulbs this afternoon.

House feels reasonably sane! Aiming to change sheets later.

I often wonder about a dehumidifer, are they noisy? I hate electrical noise.
    .

Ours hums softly - like a quiet fridge. We have it in the little landing, not in our room, and it doesn't disturb us; but I know some people who find them noisy have them on in the day only. Ours really works.

half price Ugg boots.. I checked the website re scams.. it is newly registered to the US with free email addresses and actually based in China so the chances are fake goods, stolen card details and lots of misery and the site gone without a trace in 6 months.

    Morning all.

    2 batches of soup made
    Spare bedroom tidied, ensuite S&S'd
Phonecall on behalf of my friend to windows man

    Still to do:
    Blitz parsnip soup
Clean hob where the lentils boiled over
Ring friend about call-back from windows man
    Clean bathroom
    Tidy bedroom
    Hoover throughout
Steam mop kitchen and bathroom floors
    Wash our bathmats
Energise DH to go outside and clear leaves from front garden
Buy bread and cream (for visitors) and nailbrushes (for us)
Continue work on computer until visitors arrive, with regular :coffee:

All the best for today, LW - calming vibes are on their way to you.
Love and strength for you, pigpen (I know you're strong, like me, but sometimes we're not quite as strong as we'd like to be) and a gentle tap on your new GC's behind to get him/her moving.
Rose, we all have good days, bad days and horrible days. Give yourself a break when you can.
    Enjoy your shopping trip, bossy.
Frizzle, would a collapsible crate help as a temporary replacement for the rigid laundry basket? Mine hides behind the box in the bedroom when it's not in use. Good luck with your house sale.
Hope you get a nap this afternoon, Dusty.

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks to all who need them x

DD1 just gone off for her driving test _pale_

Yesterday I spent the morning rearranging (chameleon moved again) the front room, I'm still not happy but it's the best I could do. Two boxes of tat sorted through and condensed to a small pile to be filed away. I was in a very grumpy mood (things on my mind) but got a message from my Best Male Friend to come out for lunch as he has the week off. I had a voucher for free lunches :money: so only had to pay for his starter, my pudding :o and drinks.

DW on, TD on DD1 got her dinner on my cushion cover so we put them all in the wash over night.
I off to get cat litter and plastic pockets for above filling

Morning all, not a great day here but probably not as bad as Piggers is having.

I'm off the paid stuff until next week now. This morning I have:

    Changed our bedding
    Hoovered downstairs

That's it. Just about to walk the dogs, then I'll take a look at the list.
Spend less now, work less later.
