(((Hugs))) pigpen, and a happy life over the rainbow bridge for Noel.

I was HHC-ing with you, Dusty. All housework-type flying is finished for today, and I have achieved the first of my personal goals for this week:

    1. Tidy and clean all through the house by Thursday lunchtime
    2. Check 10 course boxes and list all missing items before doing any more ancestor hunting

I'm way behind with the second because I have found some serious problems with one set of boxes, i.e. the leader's notes are missing and I an having to check the files through very carefully before printing them again - we made some fiarly major changes after trialling the course, and I want to be sure that they have all been incorporated and that 6 months on it still all makes sense :o

But I haven't done any ancestor hunting since Sunday evening ;)

I now need to drink the :coffee: which DH has made (he has finished clearing the leaves too :) ) and then pop to the shops. Visitors expected for lunch at 1.00, so could be here any time after 12.30 :D

Hope your DD has passed her test, wendywitch.

Will catch up with you all later....

Aww pigpen how sad, RIP Noel

We've been out for a spot of retail therapy. I would have enjoyed it if DD wasn't in such a foul mood. Overtired :( Still, managed to get DS some pjs, school socks and track suit bottoms. DD has some party shoes and I have some new pillows and duvet :T also picked up some milk and more cereal.

Now just having an early lunch. WM is on, DW loaded and spent fireworks collected from garden.

Really don't know where to start with the house this afternoon! Cuppa first I think ;)

DD is driving me bonkers with her clothes at the moment. I put her jogging bottoms on after school last night before going swimming. She was not impressed and "didn't get to the toilet on time" (on purpose). I then put her another pair on and she did the same thing before bedtime :( Today she has tights and a skirt and amazingly can get those down in time for a wee. She has been told any more of that nonsense and all the skirts and dresses get put away until it stops. Little madam.

Hugs Piggers even if you don't like them. It's the anniversary of SickDog crossing the rainbow bridge today so I do understand how you must be feeling.

I am just having an early lunch having just done the sorting out the bottles in the bathroom task off the list. I can't decide whether I will then read the paper, carry on with the list or just go to sleep for a while.
Spend less now, work less later.

Pigpen today is a day for you to accept our hugs and love, it helps, I remember xxx

    Bathroom cleaned
    WM2 on the line
    Window cills all wiped
Bird feeder and water washed out and refilled

I need to print some stuff for my meeting, get changed and walk down to school, posting something on the way. See you all later for a brew.

I've hung the washing indoors, tis damp out and still a smoggy smell in the air from last night. I've also dusted all the LR, polished the TV screen and given the fireplace a good scrub. It normally gets a token dusting but it's been looking a bit dull. So I got the astonish out and gave it a good rub down. Ashamed to say its now two shades lighter :o

DD seems happier now we are home. She's wandering and asking for snacks, but not really doing anything specific. She must be shattered. Although she has asked when is it Friday as she wants to go to gymnastics.

Anyone got any good ideas for Lego storage? The littlies have a variety of duplo, Lego junior and regular lego, and they don't like to get the "girl" ones mixed in with the other stuff. I was thinking of some plastic storage drawers so they can be kept separate. But open to ideas - we don't really have much more room for more drawers :(

    Big hugs to Pigpen :(

DD1 didn't pass so angry tears here :(
Nothing can console her at the moment and I can feel that I'm not coming across as sympathetic as she wants :(

Done some of my filing but now I'll going to catch up on some carp on the tv planner til DD1's feeling a bit better and DD2 comes home. She has been warned so she'll keep her mouth shut

    Did they fit? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hugs for Dusty, Jazee and Piggers.

Working my way through one of the items on my list. I thought, oooh, 15 mins will have that done and dusted, easy peasy, no problem. Two hours later, I'm not even half way through. I really must get my head around the idea that just because I want to get something done, having procrastinated about it for days / weeks / months / years it isn't nescessarily just achieved in the blink of an eye.
    Better is good enough.

Bathroom Done - on Sunday. S/s today. All okay.

Very little energy or enthusiasm today, so having a sofa day. After dropping DD at uni this afternoon, quick trip to S'bury, then some knitting I think.
