I've looked at his profile and decided there is not enough information to decide if the story is true or not - there is certainly nothing to directly relate him to the story.

Apart from the fact he has a son who fits the description of the child in the post :rotfl:

You didn't look at his profile very well ;)

It's balance of probability. It's unlikely that a photo would be taken of two people in a disabled seat who were about to move and then a fake thread set up about them.

It's certainly more evidence than the usual tripe you get on here.

What about the Morrisons Royal Legion thing where it turned out as confirmed by the Royal Legion that they were offered a space inside or outside and chose outside as they thought they'd get more people.

You appear to have missed the fact that several posts ago, I mentioned that I always keep an eye on who is getting on the bus at the next stop and will move before being asked
But why am I not surprised that you've missed that. smiley-rolleyes010.gif

    I haven't missed that....

My whole point was that you decide who you think should be allowed to sit in that seat. Disability is not always obvious at first look. The whole awkwardness of about whether or not someone needs to have the disabled seat can be resolved by not sitting their in the first place.

If you are happy to move to a normal seat just start off in one!

    Its not rocket science.

Do you know how many wheelchair bound children there are in this country? If another parent of a disabled child posts the same story, will it be their child too?

Thank you for most of your reply's I simply had this passed on to me, I do not know the person or family concerned, but my personal opinion is that this is a genuine disabled person requiring disabled seats on the train .

I had no interest in searching as this is not something I have any interest in and is completely irelevant to the post

However reading it this helps prove my point as if you read this article you can clearly see blame is on both sides in this incident. However you lot all seem to think its completely the British Legions fault. Not the manager who, when told an 89 year old freezing pensionor was outside responded with "They should get a better coat"

You didn't look very well, the guys son is only around 5 years old so can't be the 9 year old in the story. It obviously a subject close to him and he probably chose to automatically assume that the story was true so posted it on for others to see.

It still doesn't make it true, the photo just shows two women sat on a train, I could go and take a similar photo now and write a story to go with it, it wouldn't make my story true.
