I use Guinot Mask Essential - it is a clay mask but doesn't dry and it smells of Lavender, it makes a huge difference to my skin.

  • dolly84, this one is a clay that doesnt dry either it feels lovely and warming on my skin, i did like using it and thought it was good - its just that i have others in the stash to use before considering buying more. ive had this one an embarrassingly long time as it was a prize from a toddler mag and my youngest is 14 now

Thanks for posting about these. I tend to buy one or two to give to people supplemental to their gifts at Christmas. I have a small tube of L'Occitane hand cream and a Leighton Denny nail file for my friend at work so one of these will accompany these nicely.

Only problem is they say Glamour on them =/
New to this money saving lark. Any tips greatly received.

Morning everyone. Have another UU to report:

    - LE Cleanse & Polish 30ml - Got this mini in a birchbox and it lasted quite a long time. I really do love C&P but I like the ease of using an oil more. Now I'm moving on to a mini of the Balance Me cleansing balm.

Needed a heavy duty foundation today as I'm in meetings all day and th emost important one is this afternoon. Won't have time to touch up so I'm using my Makeup Forever Matt Velvet + which I have had for a couple of years and only use in extreme conditions. It's a tad too pink for me but I've blended well so hopefully no one notices!

VALM - I loved that laverna hand cream too and you can get rather large sizes online for about £4. I shall be repurchasing in the warmer months but for the moment it's TBS hemp hand protector all the way!

Has anyone used the new limited edition C&P? Emma and I are loving it. If I see an offer on before Christmas I think I may have to treat her (us) to another can. I will need to go and get her some more of the Tea Tree cleanser she loves from TBS this weekend as her tube is looking squashed. She told me today that she double cleanses with this and the C&P at night. Her skin is looking better these days though.

I am loving the Make Up Forever primer that I'm using at the moment too.

Maybe won't bother then. Thanks for that. x

Another UU : Aussie Conditioner. I know we have a small tube of Philip Kingsley in but whetehr we have any more I don't know. Will search the stash later.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've seen it in boots and might have to pick some up. And double cleansing is the way to go: it definitely helped my skin (and my name's Emma too :D)

    Ok. I'm in.

I do a lot of nail art, so I'm excluding nail polish (NOT for "don't buy any right now' but for the extended "don't buy any until you've used it all" I have 142 different colours. I'd be here for the rest of my life)

tl;dr I'm not going to buy any this month anyway, but I'm not going to go down the road of "not buying any until I've used everything I have" k? K.

    CURRENT STASH LIST

Ugh I still can't post links. Jesus wept.

There's a few things I've had for years and never use *shrug*

Yes, I do have 4 of the NSpa salt scrubs. I use them a lot. They were half price.

    EDIT oh, right, PP list
    • One of the NSpa scrubs. I'm about halfway done with it, I think?
    • Lush sweetie pie/whoosh shower jellies. Both on their last legs, but I have a replacement sweetie pie standing ready
    • Soap & Glory Slimwear. Had it for years. Does nothing whatever. Sick of looking at it
    • Andrew Barton EITHER SOS or supreme volume shampoo, so I only have one regular sham
    • Body Shop almond hand & nail cream. I hate it. It's nowhere near intensive enough for my hands, so I never use it. Will use it 10x a day if I have to :rotfl:
    • Neutrogena foot cream yeeaaah I've had this almost a decade
    • Body Shop aloe vera toner (1 of)
    • Lush aquamarina cleanser (1 of)
    Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

Thank you Babafette for starting us off.

I have been AWOL main reason being is that I have come to the conclusion that I will never use up my stuff and I like to have a selection of products to choose from. I am always going to buy thing on offer and I really enjoy it. I like buying new things and trying them out. I love parcels arriving and enjoy opening them. I don't worry about money, I don't have debts and I am good with what I earn. I am tight with most things and very rarely spurge money on anything unless it is beauty/ body related and even then most will be a deal or offer except Lush and really I just can't resist that.

If I am really honest I want all of Philosophy's Christmas shower gels, yes I may have several other bottles in a variety of scents and I will wait till the sales and stock up on philosophy shower gels then.

I am already saving for Lush's only sale and I will spend alot but in my eyes it is the only time I will get it at half price.

I am due about 9 beauty boxes this month and do not want to have to justify it. I know the naughty spot is only a giggle but I have come to the conclusion that having a beauty stash will always be part of me.

Tried the EverStrong variant, not quite as nice as the EverPure on first impressions, didn't like the feel of my hair as much, but the look was better than expected. Quite pleased in a way, as it means I can happily use the A!di coconut A!berto lookey likey one that gives both looks and feel and not feel that I am cheapskating.
