Evening everyone! Me and blokey had a weekend away in Blackpool for his dance finals, poor lamb was so tired from all his overseas travel that he didn't make it past the first round in any of his four dances :(:( I think he's over the worst of it now as he realises it was all due to bad timing not because he's a bad dancer (because he's not). His dance partner did really well as did a lot of other people from his dance school, so I tried to make him focus on them rather than him (in an 'aren't you lucky to be with such a good dance school' type way).

I am exhausted from the travelling and from spending 13 hours sat watching people dance :eek:

I managed to resist the lipsticks in A!di as the colours weren't quite right for me. I had a job to find them, and there weren't many left.

Beautifully packaged for £1.99, the lid is off so that you can see the proper colour with a hard see through protector over an elegantly engraved lippy.

I used to wear lipstick or lipsalve daily as my lips dry out easily, but since I switched to dabbing eye cream across my lips (the A!di Lacura Restorative one) I've had no problems at all. The 2 eye creams are lasting well, but somewhere in my bedroom is a third cream.

I hope I find it before 1 and 2 run out. My problem is although I have a 'grabber' to pick up items out of reach, my arthritic hip limits my searching abilities.

I succumbed in Wilko's and bought the L' Oreal Ever Strong shampoo and conditioner for delicate hair. At under half price it was a chance to get a real treat for what I would normally pay - outside A!di! - for run of the mill stuff. That's definitely it though.

Thanks for posting this, I had been trying to remember the name "Beauty Naturals" from a previous comment of yours. I have a couple of those little Trilogy bottles still to use, when empty I will refill them for weekend bag/days out. Rosehip Oil is my HG for nasty allergy breakouts on my face and I have been using A'Kin for years (only bought from *bay or on good offers), but wanted to try the BN one when I next need some:A

I have not dared try Philosophy products, and will try to stay strong until my huge (mostly gifted to me) stash of bath and body products is nearly gone, but I am so tempted:eek:

Thanks for posting about these. I tend to buy one or two to give to people supplemental to their gifts at Christmas. I have a small tube of L'Occitane hand cream and a Leighton Denny nail file for my friend at work so one of these will accompany these nicely.

Not that I'm trying to enable but Philosophy shower gels are fab. Am using my fave Pumpkin Spiced one at the mo.

Have 2 UUS:-

Laverna hand cream. Was "gifted" to me by Emma from a Birch Box that I paid for !! Was nice. Lovely fragrance. Felt very comforting and moisturising. Tube is too small for the price you pay though and I do prefer L'Occitane lavender hand cream. Have quite a bit of hand cream in the stash too.

Sachet of Elemis PCMC Super Serum. Was nice but not sure I need it and thankfully didn't try this sachet at the time that the TSV kit containing it was on air. WNB.

Morning everyone. Have another UU to report:

- LE Cleanse & Polish 30ml - Got this mini in a birchbox and it lasted quite a long time. I really do love C&P but I like the ease of using an oil more. Now I'm moving on to a mini of the Balance Me cleansing balm.

Needed a heavy duty foundation today as I'm in meetings all day and th emost important one is this afternoon. Won't have time to touch up so I'm using my Makeup Forever Matt Velvet + which I have had for a couple of years and only use in extreme conditions. It's a tad too pink for me but I've blended well so hopefully no one notices!

VALM - I loved that laverna hand cream too and you can get rather large sizes online for about £4. I shall be repurchasing in the warmer months but for the moment it's TBS hemp hand protector all the way!
