Thank you Babafette for starting us off.

I have been AWOL main reason being is that I have come to the conclusion that I will never use up my stuff and I like to have a selection of products to choose from. I am always going to buy thing on offer and I really enjoy it. I like buying new things and trying them out. I love parcels arriving and enjoy opening them. I don't worry about money, I don't have debts and I am good with what I earn. I am tight with most things and very rarely spurge money on anything unless it is beauty/ body related and even then most will be a deal or offer except Lush and really I just can't resist that.

If I am really honest I want all of Philosophy's Christmas shower gels, yes I may have several other bottles in a variety of scents and I will wait till the sales and stock up on philosophy shower gels then.

I am already saving for Lush's only sale and I will spend alot but in my eyes it is the only time I will get it at half price.

I am due about 9 beauty boxes this month and do not want to have to justify it. I know the naughty spot is only a giggle but I have come to the conclusion that having a beauty stash will always be part of me.

I'm the same, I love having a good selection of stuff around me. Last night I cracked open my new S&G Shower Butter and Smoothie Star body lotion and they are gorgeous, they don't have the pink scent, the shower butter is pistachio and almond and my first though was I need to get a spare one of each of these in the stash .

VALM - where do you get your Make up Forever from, they have quite a few things I would really like to try.

I haven't tried the new C&P, I have a regular on on the go and one in the stash plus a ton of other cleansers so I resisted.

Tried the EverStrong variant, not quite as nice as the EverPure on first impressions, didn't like the feel of my hair as much, but the look was better than expected. Quite pleased in a way, as it means I can happily use the A!di coconut A!berto lookey likey one that gives both looks and feel and not feel that I am cheapskating.

I love the EverRiche one but particularly love the EverSleek, it is great on my curls.

sam.4000 - I recognise this element of your life in myself. I too like having variety to choose from and get bored slogging along through some LHJ's, the trouble is that I also carry this through to clothes, shoes and you should see my Armageddon food stores:eek::rotfl: (We don't mention nail polish either:rotfl::rotfl:)

Funding the above is not a problem and I do use absolutely everything (eventually), but for some reason I now feel the need to simplify life and perhaps have less but better things around me.

Whilst OH and I are certainly not extreme hoarders, we do fall into the "keep it, it may come in handy" category, yesterday we filled one box for the CS and as another wet day is here, we will continue today:D

Will you still "pop in and see us" from time to time?

    Have a good weekend everyone:)

  • I have a UU to report!

Turns out the tub of NSpa Sea Salt scrub I had on the go and thought was half empty was in fact nearly gone, so I used it up last night and am down to 3 tubs of it.

WBA - It's my favourite scrub, which is why I have so much of it stocked up! Although I promise not to buy any more until I get to only having maybe 0.5 tub left.

This is a really interesting read.

I think for me, the problem was that I would buy something which 'promised' to be the next best thing, the holy grail of hair conditioning/wrinkle reducing/lip plumping etc etc, I would fall for it, buy it, and then use it once and hate it.

I think this thread is allowing me to identify what I really do enjoy using and what is worth buying again. I am beginning to realise what products work for me, my skin, my hair etc, and only buy those ones again, therefore saving money from not buying all the 'hyped up' stuff.

Plus, I find it quite empowering not to buy something until the previous one is used up :rotfl:

Take comfort in the fact it's probably not as bad as mine :rotfl:
