  • Congratulations Samiszel, debt free just before Christmas must feel good.

Another day with fibro so very little going on. Made a lovely roast chicken dinner with stuffing, cranberry sauce{on offer in one of the shops I went to} and 2 each pigs in blankets. Usually I would cook the whole packet, but now in mse fashion told dd3 it would be 2 pib and the packet would do 3 times.! We all enjoyed it.

Up to NSD 3. If I've budgeted for chiropody and it's in one of my pots do I loose an NSD tomorrow?

Found another ten items to declutter to charity shop, it's an ongoing task.

I'm able to keep the stollen until Christmas because my dd2 hides it in her room and we don't go in each others rooms unless asked.

I know she won't break into it, neither the chocolates she is hiding, as she has iron will power.

Right, hot chocolate and half an hour reading, then off to bed. Night, night.
    NSD 1/3,
My mantra is After I ....I will. eg After I make my morning coffee, I will take my medication. Eventually this will become a habit,
  • Samiszel - HUGE Congratulations!!! :j:j:j:j Bet you are feeling over the moon!

    Howdy Turtles,

Hope you have all had fine weekends! I finished my eve last night staying in with OH and watching 'The Fault in Our Stars.' I rarely cry watching films, but I did shed several tears!

Would have been another SFD today, but with the temperature dropping and having to de-ice my car recently I realised I had no de-icer...although losing a SFD to a £2 spend is a little frustrating! We stopped at a garage on a way to a friend's this eve so that OH could draw out some money at the cash point, I saw the £2 spray and thought I'd regret not buying it as it is a Huuuge can. Definitely need to work on planning my spends better!

Had a lovely eve in with friends, watching the 2nd Hunger Games movie in preparation for release of Mocking Jay in a couple of weeks. We also had fun spelling words with sparklers and capturing this on a setting on a friend's camera.

Already feeling the Monday blues starting to edge in on my mood, so I think it is best I actually get to bed as I am up way past my bed time :)

    N'Night turtles x

  • First of all..... CONGRATULATIONS SAMISZEL!!!! :j:j:j

That's absolutely fantastic news, well done you!! :T :T

committedtochange - I know this sounds sad, but actually I do really like tidying and organising, so that would be fine with me! :D

Sounds like there's a few lurgis going around, hope all the poorly turtles and turtelettes feel much better soon!

I'm beginning to despair of ever managing a SFD again this month - yesterday I had to break my SFD as I realised that the deadline for hiring my graduation robes was today, did then manage to get another christmas present in town, bringing me up to 5 and meaning I only have one big one left to get. Friend coming to stay tonight and we're having a budgeted indian, I'm hoping after that to manage SFDs other than parking until I get paid on friday. Ho hum!!

    £100/ £150 groceries till 15th November
    £0/0 petrol till 15th november
Outings £20/£20 (takeaway with friend, trip to see Levellers play)
    NSDs 3/20
    4/20 exercise sessions (lunchtime walks)
Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j

    Sisu.
  • First time I've posted! I aim to have 5 NSDs this week. I have to buy bread but I'm not counting that! I have made a pot of veg soup that will be my lunch at work for 3 days. Today I'm at a conference so will be fed and watered all day.
  • Thanks for the new challenge apple muncher. Weekly shop done yesterday and I am happy to report it all came in at under £30.

I am off to catch up on the pots I missed over the weekend now.
  • Congratulations Samiszel- great news!!!!

I know exactly what you mean. I need to set aside some money this week to make sure we are stocked up on de-icer, screen wash and I need a new scraper for the car windows.
  • well done Samiszel. :j:j:j
budgets = food gone:eek:/ petrol almost gone:eek:/nsd:mad:/ Treats: where the money gone? far far away:mad:/exercise not happening/declutter: only my purse:(
    time for me :fat chance
  • Firstly - SAMISZEL - WELL DONE!!! :j:j:beer::j:j
    What an inspiration.

Secondly - thank you for the welcome and the number. I've update my sig accordingly, and for the first time. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will work ok :) I've been keeping track since the start of the month.

The de cluttering mission happened - I've shifted some old furniture, listed 20 items on fleabay and sent a bin liner of clothes to the charity shop. I have to say it's very therapeutic :) However, I got a flat, and had to have an unplanned spend on a part worn. Sad times....

    Happy Monday all.
