Morning all
Forgot how quickly these threads move, just had to catch up on 4 pages! Must do better with posting daily, it's motivating to see how well you're all doing.
Been a bit poorly but much better now the antibiotics have kicked in. Prescriptions don't count, right?
Have another NSD to add, possibly 2 if today goes as planned. Missed out on one yesterday as had to buy a bottle of water, left mine somewhere.... Food will have to be bought later but that comes out of the shopping jar and I think OH will go.
Exercise (walking) hasn't been going too well but as I'm feeling a bit better I'll at least go for a short walk later.
Nothing else to report. Certainly not weight loss!

Well lost my post I did earlier.
Went to Aldee for veg yesterday and spent 40 pounds what the heck was I thinking. So now grounded and keeping away from food shops rest of the month.

*de lurks*
Log time lurker here and avid follower of your challenges. If I'm too late to join, as I suspect I am, would it be okay if I donned my lycra and cheer-lead-ered with you this month, with a view to being brave enough to join in next please?

NSD for me today, de-cluttering of the kitchen continues
looks almost civilised now, the trouble is I have way too much stuff, a lot of which is never used, so having a brutal sort out.
Need a new-house present for my niece, who is moving into her first home on Monday, have allocated £25.
I need advice, shall I buy a new washing machine?, the one I have works fine, but is 16 years old and has a very small capacity by todays standards, only 5kg. it has never broken down once in all that time, and I would give it to my niece if I bought a new one, they reckon to last 20 years so she would get some use out of it.
The one I have been looking at is the same brand as my old one but takes a 9kg load and would be a big help. The old one was fine when I bought it and it was just me and OH, but little man has school uniforms, rugby kit swimming kit, PE kit etc. and there is often lots of camping/caravanning gear to wash and it takes an age.
The MSE part of me says keep the old one, its fine, but the lazy part wants a new one so it doesn't take so long to get through the washing, and will allow me to give the old one to my niece who doesn't have a lot of money for stuff.ISA £1675MiniMoohound savings £3685.86 :T Plus £3800 CTF

lilt – I would count that as a SFD as someone else has paid for the postage so you are just using their money.
mothernerd – congratulations on the house move
sazzlebegood – congratulations on your SFDs, two in a row!!!
moohound – am I right in thinking you are debt free? Would you be able to buy a new one without going into debt? Does your niece need one? I think if the answer to all these 3 are yes, then yes as it benefits you and your niece and causes no damage to your debtfreeness. Part of the reason I can’t wait to be debt free is to be able to make more decisions because of want and not because of need.
Today is a spendy day, I had to buy a pack of cake to take into work for a sharing thing and also donate some money for a present for a colleague so I decided to do the weekly food shop too. Totals updated and all animal food for the month purchased.
I have also lost 2lbs this week so I'm feeling rather pleased as my personal challenge is a loss of 8lbs this month

Well, yet again I didn't have a NSD but the F1 is on this weekend so I should get 2 out of this weekend
Have applied for another job so that's 4 for the week. Hopefully one of them decides to rescue me from my current one!
Planning to have a sort out tomorrow to try and do a car boot sale on Sunday, but I'm sure I'll want to stay in bed on Sunday morning lol
Has anyone used bubblews? There's a few threads on here about it so I thought I'd give it a try but I'm at a loss as to how anyone makes any money from it! Think my night may be spent reading the 52 page MSE thread :eek:Make £10 a day November £27.57/£300

I missed posting yesterday so will catch up for Thursday, Friday now and post again tonight.
Thursday was a spend day as I had lunch with friends from a pain management course I went on earlier in the year. £5.49 and the friend I pick up buys my drink-coffee or lime and lemonade.
I also picked up a pair of joggers and two sweatshirts for my 9mth old grandson for Christmas -3 for price of 2 in b&&ts, I've already got a book and a push along monkey for him. The 3 items came to £17 so I thought that was reasonable. I have already put together a hamper for dd1 and her husband so no more to spend on them. I bought my mum an amber pendant on a silver chain whilst I was in Spain earlier in the year. Just dd3 boyfriend and dd2and 3 to get for.
Also went to local area £1 shop and bought 36 toilet rolls for a fiver! One of my new penny saving ideas.
Visited my mum at her residential home, took my friend along and we played bingo with the residents had a cuppa and a good laugh, sometimes it's like a kindergarten.
Friday I had a flare up of fibromyalgia so have only been to buy milk from the corner shop £1-89 for 3 pints.
Meal planning still going ok and have still got all items in fridge 'in date' nothing thrown away, even few carrots and peas from yesterdays dinner in freezer. Will only need to buy veges and
more milk and bread over weekend. Unheard of before!
Made an extra payment to one c/c today.
Keep smiling dottyNSD 1/3,
My mantra is After I ....I will. eg After I make my morning coffee, I will take my medication. Eventually this will become a habit,0
