:hello: Evening all xxxx
(Back on the left)
Kermit- My mum used to make my sandwiches for the week and freeze them, when I got my first job. They always seemed to defrost in time for my lunch; trick was not putting them into the fridge at work.
Well back into NSD mode and up to number 7 :j
It's the last of my four on today and I'm going up to mum's but have got to wait until after the team meeting at one; normally I just go straight from work so I hope I can stay awake :rotfl:. Will be starting on the coffee in a minute...........Not too much though as I don't want to be waffling through the team meeting and make it last any longer than it has to!
Am hoping for a couple at mum's; tomorrow won't be as I will need bus fare from the station to hers and Saturday I may go to see some friends up there but will be in on Sunday night with an update.
I agree Nargle......yesterday was a good day to be housebound, rubbish weather!! Hope you are looking after yourself though and getting better.

You've really started something now, marmite. Igor and Swedish Chef are hiding in the basement kitchen setting up a cheese production line. They have the huge vat scrubbed out ( after Igor finished the laundry) and the stirring thing is all sterilised ready to go, they just can't decide on what manner of creature should provide the milk, cow, sheep, goat....oh-oh, I see Igor heading towards Hubert with a bucket, methinks some urgent intervention is required.....
Thank you for that disturbing vision Nargle......something to take away with me

Anyway to those who wondered where I'd gone away too the honest answer is I don't have a clue. Either way the saving habits slipped when I went but I'm back to rectify that. For those who wondered how my job was going it's going great, only on £3.72 an hour but getting around 24 hours work a week plus college so about £90.00 in my back pocket a week.
I've have, as of two weeks ago set up a Halifax Junior ISA which I contribute 1/3 of my income to. So currently I have £90. I'm calling it my emergency savings account as I am aiming to save 3 months of income (£1080) by the time I turn 18 then I will open a H&L regular savers account as liquid savings and a SIPP when I turn 18 which I will contribute about 10% of my income to. Just want that £1080 as a nest egg if you want to call it that incase of any emergencies!
Anyway sorry for withering on just wanted to tell people I'm still alive haha!
Good to see you back Josh

...but another spendy day today - buying my hubster to be things to open the morning of our wedding - mostly vouchers for things we can both enjoy throughout our first year of wedded bliss...so actually, I don't feel like the money is gone as quickly as it would be if I, say, bought him a watch. Instead, I am pre-arranging things for us to do together, and by paying for things now, it's a proper present, plus thoughtful, AND we have things to do throughout 2015 that we won't need to find cash for - yay!Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:
