After a lovely long weekend visiting DS2 in Bath, I have been lazing around this morning, very tired!

I will now get off the sofa and the Internet and fly the kitchen...

Ionafan Try and spend some time in that sunshine while it's there. I find it helps me feel less down. Hugs as well.

My friend is having her diagnostic laparoscopy and possibly further surgery today, so I need to keep myself occupied or I shall succumb even further to the BD. DH is finding it difficult to express his support in ways that actually help me, but he has made me 2 good cups of tea this morning :A
I know what you mean; Mr LW isn't too good at that either - I think it's just that mens' brains are wired differently. We just have to remember that they do want to be supportive, they just don't know how to express it.:o Cups of tea are always good - I've just had a coffee plonked on the table beside me (ok, I'm a Caffeine Monster).;) Everything crossed for your friend; and have a Wolfy (((HUG))) before I tootle off to do my WiiFit.:o

Freezer sorted and everything deboxed, bagged and labelled. Cheese sauce boxes and onion quichey flans frozen. All boxes and lids washed for re-use.
    Better is good enough.

went drs with mil this morning, just warfarin check. have been work fed Dh and me and now hes gone back work im nipping round his mums to sort her meds and see what needs reordering.

just watched robbie williams on the news prancing around the labour ward trying i presume to keep his wife's mind off her contractions. if Dh had done anything remotely like that anywhere near me while i was in labour i think he would have needed a Dr more than me!!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Slow going here today, I'm drained. Despite going to bed early for me, I had a really bad nights sleep, so I just don't want to do anything. Instead I am pottering along slowly doing stuff. So far today I've nearly cleared the washing up pile (4 batches so far due to the size of stuff filling the drainer) so there's only a big pan which is soaking and the glass worktop protector to do, I've folded cleaning cloths which were in the drier, juggled money to accounts, and made 2 batches of homemade bread using the breadmaker to knead the dough and my remoska to cook it since my breadmaker isn't heating up properly. I did a bit of shredding too but its so noisy I stopped.

I've got the ironing board out, off to find a long extension (I think there's one in my room) and then I'm going to do the ironing while streaming something online. I have plenty I can watch so that should keep me entertained. Then I need to get the livingroom clean before its overtaken with work tomorrow. If anyone finds my GUAG give it a clip round the ear and send it back this way please! :rotfl:

    Just updating my list:

[STRIKE]- SW from 9.00 to about 11.15 (we help with setting up and clearing away)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- dust/wipe/vacuum/polish spare bedroom downstairs, including the ensuite: this is tidy and only needs a quick whizz round - should be do-able before we go out[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- dust/wipe/vacuum/polish study-bedroom: last night I picked up all the odd bits of paper up last night and stuffed them in a bag to sort later :o but at least I can now see my way around[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]- sort the hyacinths to plant in pots[/STRIKE]
    - plant remaining bulbs (not just hyacinths) in the garden or (in the case of the rockery miniatures) in small pots
    - clear the lawn of leaves
    - shake the dry soil off the begonias which I dug up last week and pack them away in a cardboard box
    - tidy the [STRIKE]utility and [/STRIKE]back porch
[STRIKE]- wash out the large oven rack soaking tray that has been used outside all summer as a temporary home for purchased plants in pots [/STRIKE]
    - sort the paperwork in the study this evening while DH is out
    - make a phonecall ditto

Getting there slowly, though I've missed all the sunshine now :(
