Hiya everyone


Thank goodness it's stopped raining for a few hours !!

If it's gone I've done it or don't have one

Monday Mayhem ~ Living Room, Hall
Vacuum floors and sofas
Dusting, even if around everything
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!)
Put up linings or winter curtains to keep out those draughts.
Clean phone handsets/bases.

Extras:
Clean a window or two. DH cleaned all the windows - bless

Deep Clean Challenge
Clean light fittings, skirtings even the ones behind furniture. Wipe sofa's down. Clear as may hotspots as you can.. see if you can get it all into one pile instead of 15!!!


Tremendous Tuesday ~ the Land of Room of Doom!!
15 minutes...
Clear the floor of clutter..
30 minutes to spare...
Dust the shelves. cupboards, light fittings etc
Wipe the paintwork.. skirtings door frames etc ...
Got an hour...
Find a bag of things you no longer need..
Have a carrier bag and fill it with rubbish..

Wonderous Wednesday ~ bathroom
Wash down the tiles and windows
Clean the bath, bog and basin (and the shower if needed!)
Wipe over the paintwork
Got an hour...
Wash mats, curtains etc that need doing

Extras - You know you want to!

• Delete 10 dead links from your favourites
• Delete some unwanted emails
• Sort out coats and shoes.. and bags.. and brollies.. *FLING*
• Fill a binbag of rubbish and throw it out!!

Scrub down the dirty marks on the walls in these rooms, and any dirty marks on the walls.



My list (no particular order)

Sort recycling and take
Chase up water overflow NDN
Contact PPL for DH
Source new duvet for spare room
Order another suitcase
Do prompt cards for Spanish
Do something new
Water all back boxes on balcony - enough rain on front ones !!
Cover balcony table with new green plastic sheeting - neatly and fixed
Clean all front porch, floor, ledges, window and door.
Clear out and tidy cleaning cupboard

October Challenge

(1) clear balcony boxes, refill and plant loads of dillydaffs - FINISHED
(2) Sort Room of Doom for good !! Done 7 hours - desk cleared
(3) Sort both freezers, run down and defrost - both sorted out
(4) Finish and hang thermal curtain linings for spare room - both finished ready to hang
(5) Sort out all my clothes - done drawers

Morning all, LittleyDog got me up a 5.30 as she has skin problems AGAIN!!

I've just had a cuppa and some cereal, so I'm now going to wash up, go in gym, have a bath, do the ironing and walk the dogs before the paid stuff.

Morning all,

Oh but it's cold here this morning, frost warning went off in the car for the first time this winter.

Completed yesterday's list with only the exception of two items in the mending pile. One is a summer dress so in no rush and the other a work skirt that won't be needed while I'm away for the weekend.
Leaving from work at 3.30 so will again add my own wee list of things to do before I go as won't have time for flying properly.

• finish packing (just toiletries etc that were still being used this morning to add to the bag)
• empty the bins
• put DW on
• make sure BF hasn't left a mess (hate coming back to an untidy house)
• move WM and lift lino to let floor dry out (had a wee leak)
• don't forget to take the prosecco!

That'll be all for today. Won't be online tomorrow, maybe Friday but definitely Monday

Morning all

Gloomy here this morning, due walking with my friend at 8:30 so hopefully the rain will hold off. Bitty day with DS3 having MMR and a hair cut and I need to do one of my paid gardening jobs later. Hope to get bits of flying done inbetween, concentrating on getting the kitchen finished first.

A chill in the air today, even the kiddies didn't dawdle on the way to school club.

Trying to connect to paid stuff, and having some brekkie. I have lots of oaundry to sort today and put away. So I'll take regular breaks I think and spend 5min each time rehoming tat.

I also want to pop out for my prescription and the kids need new toothbrushes.

Got a 9 in 1 steam cleaner coming today which I paid for with tesco vouchers so cost me nothing yay. Ordered a new table and chairs from argos and more Xmas presents. Overspent on 1 child and hardly got anything for others yet oops. House looking ok as I'm doing little and often.

Started to wrap adopted gs free lego from the papers, need to sort out / wrap other stuff as well.
Make card list and check addresses

I have found the paper / gift tags / cards so that is a good start.

Back in from dropping ds1 off at holiday club. Made a quick cuppa and writing my list before I crack on!

Wash kids bedding
Remake kids beds
Dw
Wm
Wash up
Wipe down all sides in kitchen
Tidy up ds2s bedroom
Paint bathroom ceiling
Paint kitchen wall
Tidy up our bedroom- big job!!
Hoover top floor
Hoover stairs and landing
Steam clean bathroom carpet
Steam clean stairs

That should keep me busy! Will update at lunchtime!!

I have OH doing a food shop and I caught up on bills and ordered a couple of Christmas bits for DD2, DS2 and DD3.. They should be pretty much done and dusted once I have ordered them replacement phones (FREE!!) at the end of next month.. I need to sort DS3 and a few more bits for DS2, then Moomin and Tiddles.. Everyone else is done I hope!!


I can then start on the extended family.. my stepdad (got him a hat and sweets so far.. I usually make him up a hamper of random things) I need 3 photo frames for my sister and I need something for my nephypoo. Books for Fabian and Jacob and I may actually be organised enough to wrap.


Off to dangle out the washing, fold 4 loads of dry and get 2 more loads in.. towels mainly.. DS2 can bring them down!


My infected finger has uninfected itself with much messiness *bleurgh!!* it is sore to type with again now.
