Been paid today so I've paid a couple of credit cards. Leaves my debts outstanding £8031.41.

Hopefully pay some more off next week and get under 8K..

The good news is I'm now permanent in my second job! :j:j:j:j. Such a relief. It'll allow me to get these debts paid off quicker. :T

Finally it's Xmas Eve. What a horrible few days I've had in work. Stressful and not being able to keep up half the time. Received £20 in vouchers from them. Put them away somewhere safe for now.

Paid from second job today so will sort out budget over the next few days. Just want to spend some quality time with hubby over the next couple days.

Hope everyone has a wonderful and relaxing Christmas.

Just watching scrooge, our family ritual every year on Xmas eve!

Really hadn't realised this film character was a money lender, so there's hope

Another payment made to the horrible debt! £33.09 which now takes me to £7998.32 to pay off! Sigh.

Today I have joined slimming world. Need to loose 26lbs!

Another New Years resolution - to stop smoking again! Bought my last pack today and once they have gone - no more. Did do it cold turkey for STOPTOBER but started again on and off after two weeks and was smoking again before the end of that month. Stupid!

2015 I will be a non smoker, skinny and reduce by debts by half. Those are my goals.

Anyone else have any New Years Resolutions?

    Happy New Year!

One resolution in progress. Last cigarette smoked yesterday at 1pm. Been far too busy today to think about having one.
My parents came round this afternoon for tea. It was lovely and then had cream cakes so Slimming World is on hold. Still got lots of food that hasn't been eaten.

Not looked at my bank account yet. Hopefully all DD have been taken. Then I can budget and see how much more I can pay off towards my debts.

Back to work tomorrow in both jobs whilst OH is off. Not fair - I feel like I could do with a day off of just slobbing around.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

What a lovely surprise I had in the post this morning. A cheque for £305.00 from HMRC - lovely jubbly. That will go straight into my account after work on Monday and once cleared will go towards my debts.

Still not smoking but do feel rough but worth it as more money saved.

Must move my butt and attempt to look human again before I start work at mid day. I just want to back to bed.

Wasn't able to go to work today - full of cold and no idea where I've caught this from. I can only assume my immune system is low due to me stopping smoking. I had to phone in sick and I know I won't be paid for today. Went back to bed this morning and got a few more hours kip.

Think I'll watch some programmes on my planner. Plenty of casualty and holby to catch up on.
